I too would drop weave. Whatever defense IOs you need can simply be slotted in Combat Jumping. While true you can take both and double the effect, I believe the extra power pick could be used for something more.

A fully slotted Weave is 7.88% Def to all, if you put even basic Red Fortunes in it you have a 10.38% Def to range, thats pretty huge. That covers anything shot at you regardless of damage type.
13.38%, cause you should never forget the res/3% def IO!!!
I would never slot a travel power, unless it was with zephrs.
But if i do that, I'm taking weave, cause its more of a defense build.
not sure how many respec's used on the OP, but if you get 1-2 drops of LOTG (or cash it in for one), you want somewhere to put them, and they WILL help.

To be honest, your fire/fire tank is not very good because you don't have enough money.
Fire/fire tanks are very inf intensive, but once you spend the inf, it can make them very, very good.
I have a lvl 50 fire/fire tank that I have spent about 700ish million inf on and he routinely gets compliments in missions about how fast/awesome he is.
A few pointers that, IMO, are necessary for good fire/fire tanking:
1. Get tough and weave. If you combine weave, combat jumping, 3% steadfast unique and various IO set bonuses, you can easily have 15-17% positional defense to all 3 types. That is nothing to forget. Also with tough fully slotted and your shields, you will have 70% S/L resistance which will give you just enough time to hit another healing flames to keep you alive.
2. Drop RotP, burn and temperature protection to make room for boxing, tough, weave.
3. Endurance will be a beast, you will have 6 toggles running and will need to IO for recovery. If you can find someway to afford the miracle and numina uniques to slot into health, that will go a long way in helping you. On the same note, throw 3 slots into stamina, I know you only get about 20% enhancement out of the 3rd one, but you really do need it.
4. Remember, your only damage mitigation is the ability to kill them before they kill you. With proper slotting you can get healing flames down to 18-20 sec recharge, which will keep you alive longer to kill the baddies.
Honestly, fire/fire tank was my first main and my first 50. I have run countless farms/TF's with him and have alot of experience in min/maxing this particular power combo. You have your 4 power pools. Coldmed is right about freaks.
demons are good for magical salvage, which isnt as rare as it used to be (tech has some expensive rares to match too). That being equal, go freaks. more influence, same drop rate.
farm builds should be about recover/endurance and recharge.
add in tough, with healing flames, you will be fine.

Though weave is questionable if your doing a solo farm (OP didnt mention). If he teams up with buddies or plans on doing TF's, etc.
But then I might recommend using the dual build, 1 more defensive (gasp) and the other more offensive based.

Not hating on his purples, hating on his total lack of respect for anyone who doesnt think his way , including some pretty new players to the game.
