Anyone else notice that you can't mouse-over a recipe and see its stats? Working as intended? or a bug perhaps?

Check your options. There is something about mouseover which is not specific to IOs. It's an all or nothing kind of thing I believe.

Had this hit me tonight. The even odder thing was that sometimes a recipe would show me the pop-up I expected, and sometimes wouldn't. Some recipes never showed me that window, some always did, and some did occasionally. Very odd.

Costume recipes have been weird since they were introduced. They do no have a pop up, so you have to put them in your recipe list to see what you need to build them. That may be the ones you were noticing.

Was some common IO recipes (L30 Acc showed the pop-up, L25 did not), some BotZ, and a few Obliteration recipes. On of the BotZ (travel/end) showed about half the time the typical info window. The BotZ: KB prot never showed it. One obliteration damage showed the first time I looked, but after I went to look for the salvage I couldn't get the pop-up again unless I used right-click --> Info. Very odd.

I don't even look at costume recipes since they dropped under a few million.

I've found this earlier today and my first thought was = Didn't they say they fixed something like that... not broke something?

I seriously hope someone figures out what the heck happened with this, I got sick of having to right-click and pull up the "info" to see the Salvage needed (and how many I have of each at the moment...

This made crafting a real PITA this afternoon, ended up logging off and getting some sleep - rather than mess this.

I think noticed a couple new toons - (that I fairly recently made) had the option "show player rating on mouse-over or whatever..." (something to that effect) checked, and I unchecked it (prior to today iirc) because I thought(?) that was how I've usually have that option set.

IIRC, It was the option directly below "show player name" - which IMO doesn't sound like the recipe mouse-over details thing that seem to be bugged...

I suppose I should go look thru those options & see if there is some way to set or reset this?

And for what its worth:
I noticed that it seemed to be semi-functional, IF I had only the recipe window open, but if I ALSO had the market window open it wouldn't work .
Which makes buying salvage for recipes a real chore.

Help... somebody PLEASE fix this!

Edited to clarify my experience with multiple windows somehow affecting this. In my experience, it was the the recipe window & the market window open at the same time that caused this, IDK about any other windows affecting this? I'll see if I can nail this down to something repeatable, because this bug/whatever is a severely frustrating, bordering on excruciating...

Well, it seems that the only recipe that will show it's details in the Market Window on mouse-over - is the last one on the far right side.

And in the Recipe Window it doesn't seem as consistent, but it appears to only want to show the details for the last recipe that was selected/clicked on...

Also, Having more than 2 recipes open or "expanded" - seems to affect/interfere with the ability to see the 'pop-up details' via mouse-over...

Same here. Had a full set of IO recipes sitting in the market... I could mouse over one and get the ingredients, but not the others.


Having Vengeance and Fallout slotted for recharge means never having to say you're sorry.

One workaround I found ... right-click on the recipe and choose "info". This popped up a window that I could keep open and then shop for salvage. However it doesn't update with quantities on hand.

This has been posted in the Bug forum.

It not only happens with recipes, but with crafted enhancies as well.

For most folks it seems to be connected to having the WW window open, though I've heard some are having issues with enhancies in trays as well.

I did see a discussion about it on the beta forums, and they said it was supposedly fixed. Nevertheless, it seems to have snuck into the live release.

Be sure to /bug it when it happens to you in game.

I didn't notice what IO it was, but it sucks.

I noticed that I could get the recipe windows to open when the market screen is not the active window. So when you first drop a recipe into the screen or just typed something in search, try clicking out in any open area outside of the window.

*Just double-checked and this works half the time for me, very odd. But then again, i've discovered this when I would try to reply to a tell and ended up typing "no, i dont want to be in your AE group please stop blind inviting me" in the search text.

**I wonder if they could create such an anti-spam IO?

Yep, ran into this myself, really is oddball what it decides is allowed to pop up and what isn't. Did NOT have this problem before the 7/1 patch.

Not to derail this, but as a hard core solo'r, I've set the Team options on all my characters to "Do not accept team invites". Bingo! No more blind invites to things I don't have time for anyway.
