i still haven't reactivated due to trial accounts are pieces of [censored] and i can't tell if i want to, but if i do reactivate before the first one if anyone needs a third, on my main I have:
Fire/EM Blaster w/ like 2+ years of team arena/zone pvp experience
Fire/Thermal Corrupter w/ like 3+ years of team arena/zone pvp experience
Mind/Psi Dominator w/ like 3-5 months of team arena/zone pvp experience
Thugs/Psn Mastermind w/ like 6-9 months of team arena pvp experience
^^except I haven't played in over a year^^
all of them were built in either i10 or i11 though and i left before i13 even hit closed beta so i really don't know anything about these apparently "sweeping changes" to pvp.

Practice nights are starting this Friday. The date for the ranking tourney has not been set, but it wont be for several weeks.

Are there any guides on general strategy for 3 on 3 PVP? I have many thoughts floating around in my brain on the best pairings.

Triumph 3v3 League: Season 1
What and Why:
Paragon Elite is hosting a 3v3 PvP league for Triumph. The purpose of this new league is to promote PvP growth, with an emphasis on team mechanics, PvP education and general PvP awareness.
When and Where:
Teams will meet in Pocket D every Friday from 9pm till 11pm Eastern for 3v3 practice nights. This is the time where people can sharpen their skills and test team line-ups and such against other teams. This will also be a good time for recruiting and/or learning through asking questions or by watching other matches. Practice nights will start this Friday, June the 26th.
If you have questions, feel free to stop by the Paragon Elite vent server. We can help with builds, team configurations, or just answer general PvP questions. Also, if you do not have access to a vent or TS server for your team, you are welcome to use PE's vent server. Contact me for the info.
Registration:
Registering your team, or yourself in the Player Pool, can be accomplished a few different ways. Post your team roster here with the team name, or just your own name and I will add it to the Registered Team's list or the Player Pool accordingly. Also, feel free to send me a forum email, or give me the information in game at @Betamax. If you send a tell to register, please do not assume I have read the information until I have sent back a confirmation.
Player Pool:
The Triumph 3v3 League Player Pool has two purposes. First off, if a team is missing someone for a match, that team can use one and only one person from this pool. Of course, there is no obligation on the part of the player to agree to this. It has to be agreed upon by both parties. Secondly, it will be a listing of people who are seeking a team. This will give other potential teams a list of possible recruits, or three people from this pool may even decide to form their own team. Lastly, people in the Player Pool have no obligation to the other teams or the league in general. They can be as serious or as casual as they choose. When registering, please indicate if you are looking for a team, so it can be noted.
Team Restrictions:
No Repeating ATs, although repeating power sets are allowed.
There are no banned powers. This may change if a power becomes exploitable in a future patch.
Match Configuration:
Team Format: 3v3
match Time: 10 minutes
Diminishing Returns: On
Travel Suppression: Off
Heal Decay: Off
Inspirations: Tier 1 only
Temp Powers: Only the ones purchasable from the Pocket D shop.
Level: Matches will be set for Super Heavyweight (47 - 50).
Map: Random with the Cage, Troll Caves and Eden maps being banned.
Season 1 Tournament:
At the end of the season, there will be a ranking tournament for those teams who are interested. The Tournament will begin on a Friday and go through the next Friday. During this time, the ranked matches will occur and will determine the final rankings for the season. Participation in the ranking tournament is not mandatory. Teams that do not compete; however, will not be added to the final rankings list.
A date has not been set for the ranking tournament because there are other leagues forming on other servers, and an "all servers" tournament is being planned on test for the winning league teams on live. In an attempt to coordinate with the other leagues, the tournament time will be announced when the test tournament plans are finalized.
Note: Season 2 will be handled a little differently. There will still be a non ranking period at the beginning, but then there will be a longer, on going period of ranked matches instead of an 8 day tournament.
Conduct:
Smack talking, griefing, or whatever words one wants to use, will not be permitted in the 3v3 League. Friendly joking, and mild smack talking is understandable, but moderate to severe griefing will not be tolerated. The goal of the 3v3 league is to promote PvP on Triumph by giving an overall positive PvP experience to its members, not to create a toxic PvP environemnt. The League reserves the right to remove anyone from the roster at any time for conduct violations.
