learn to use spaces after punctuation. and i don't see your name in red letters which means that you don't know this will happen. and the naysayers will not bring it back up again. why you ask? because we do not suffer from delusions of grandeur. just accept the fact that this was a bad idea, just like most if not all of your others, and move on. kthxbai.

edit: 2 words that samson told me i spelled wrong. even though he still can't grasp the concept of putting spaces after commas.

if you looked, i changed the erros. and in the english language, spaces come after the comma.

It is perhaps belaboring the obvious to point out that written English also has rules for the use of capital letters.

And it is also perhaps belaboring the obvious to note that capital letters appear not in your post criticizing the use, or lack thereof, of spaces after commas.

I used to fiddle with my back feet music for a black onyx. My entire room absorbed every echo. The music was . . . thud like. The music was . . . thud like. I usually played such things as rough-neck and thug. Opaque melodies that would bug most people. Music from the other side of the fence.

At any rate, I don't particularily like the OP's ideas... but I DO like the idea that was brought up up-thread to allow existing blast sets to have a gun (rifle, pistol, whatever) chosen as a part of the animation/emenation point. Now THAT would get the OP his different rifle types AND be usable by more than one powerset. Pure win of an idea.

The only one currently doable is Sonic, since the animations already exist. (Goldbrickers, Council Ascendants)

By animations I mean the emanation point for the powers already being from the barrel of a gun.

You know what I'd rather see for Assault Rifle.

Now this may be a tad too advanced right now (we have selectable animations for various powers so I'm unsure exactly how feasible this is or not).

I'd love to do the whole 'FPS weapon range' thing, it just doesn't make a whole lot of sense for one rifle to do everything from a single shot to firing a rocket (if you have Munitions).

So the options for the various powers becomes keeping the original in (for those that hate the redraw this would lead to...) and with a different option, each option would also allow for weapon customisation within that pool.

Burst:
Dual pistols (same animation as the cone attack from the MM thugs pistol set but single target).

Slug:
Carbine (Musket, Western, Modern).

Buckshot:
Shotgun (pump, Jackhammer auto-shotgun, double barrelled, sawn off).

M30 Grenade:
Grenade launcher (one shot single tube, rotating cartridge version ala TF2 Demo man).

Beanbag:
Shotgun (same models).

Sniper Rifle:
name says it all (Musket, Dragunov lookalike, Barrett M107 lookalike, current sniper rifle option).

Flamethrower and Ignite:
Flamethrower (one we have ingame now as a temp weapon/used by Longbow Flamethrowers, oldschool WW2 style flamethrower).

Full Auto:
Minigun (Longbow/council/5th column minigun, Nemesis smaller minigun).

Muntions mastery:

Cryo-Freeze ray:
Mastermind pulse rifle options.

LRM:
Missile launcher (used by the Council/5th Column).

That I would really love because it gives a proper kind of 'tooled up' style of weapon user (along with the standard question of 'where do you store all this' which has haunted FPS since Wolfenstien 3D but it's a comic book game...who cares...)

if I recall correctly it WAS like that originally. It was changed because the redraw drove everyone nuts, and no one played the set because of it. And I mean NO ONE. It made the set nearly unplayable.

Basicly, you have new powersets, some of which are copied from existing ones, under the Assault Rifle heading.
For some of them, you would be just changing the animation of an existing set.

Do you wish to be able to change your existing character to switch to these sets, much like switching builds? That's a whole other can of worms I won't go into.

the best solution is like on the last page, have fire blast energy blast etc as normal but allow them to have gun models muwaha
