Just ignore the e-mail system entirely then. I personally think it's pointless because it's character based.

To much work i just rapidly click delete. Use to spam them till i realize they used trail accounts.
[edit] deleted them all it kept tell me how much i had when i zoned.
It's true. My ignore list is always full of spammers, and there are always 5 or 6 new ones waiting for me every [censored] day

I'm rather curious what the upper limit is for how many your inbox can hold.
Be sure to spend a lot of time in a starting zone without hiding from /search just to be on as many RMTmail 'mailing list's as possible.
Yes, I'm still in favor of a reciever-side filter that would prevent me from recieving Email from people that are not on MY friends list, in my SG or G-friended with me. But that's a dead horse for another day.

Why do they even let trial account users send email?
Trial account users should only be able to send tells to users that have them on their friends list, thats it....

Last I knew, they don't.
But yeah, I logged in on a character I hadn't been on with in a while and had 200 of the damn things. I didn't bother deleting them.

30 isn't too bad. I logged in to my defender I hadn't played in a long while and he had 187 if I remember correctly. Took forever to clean them out.

And this is why my OCD compulses me to hit the spam button every time I open it and see 'Empty' filling it, with the occasional not-empty-but-still-spam.
Oddly, the only red tag I've mentally blocked out is my Team tab, probably because it's almost always on the edges of my vision (and thus not as present in the mind).

Trial account users cannot send emails (or send tells, or use channels outside local, help, or team).
What you are likely seeing are messages from hacked accounts or from accounts registered with stolen credit cards.
in-game email spam is only marginally more annoying than real-world email spam, which isn't very.
I'd appreciate a better interface, one that allowed deletion of multiple items at once, but I'm not holding my breath.
this game just doesn't do useful, functional interfaces.

After 8 days, I'd be happy with only 30 spam emails.
I hate the nag reminding you on each zoing more than the red letters.
90% of my toons 'might' get legit mail too, so have to scan each one's title or context before teh mass deletes.
But really it bothers me little. Deal with more and worse daily with real email. Why wouldn't superheroes get spam like normal people....
I don't suffer from altitis, I enjoy every minute of it.

I'd even settle for a "Delete all" option, really, in over five years of playing I've used the email option maybe once or twice. It pre-dates global names and needs to go

So i logged on to my hero that i haven't been on for 8 days and then i popped up my Email to start deleting all the spam when i saw this. Now I looked to see what i got and of coarse all them are GET CASH SUPER FAST!!! I'm really sick of all this junky spam is there even a use for email? I only have gotten two good emails in my life of playing CoX and even then they weren't to great. I'm now not going to delete all the spam i got on this toon and see how much ill get in about a month.
[Note] I'm not showing the emails because i really don't feel like advertising for them.
