Maybe you should have used a screenshot that focused on the head then, as well as mentioning it in your post.

Also, that's an awfully dark screenshot. I couldn't tell anything was wrong, in part because I couldn't see half the costume.

As a general thing, turn off powers when taking a picture to highlight the costume. Unless the power is part of the issue. They tend to obscure the costume

seriously?

i just thought it was funny so i posted it. yes, the pic ended up smaller than it was supposed to be for reasons unknown and made it so it was hard to see the problem but for the love of pete having my powers runnin was sorta part of the haha. geez i have bad eyesight and i could still see that it was missing.


i bugged it ingame. it was detail oriented in the bug report. i see no reason to make it completely detail oriented to all of you over serious yahoos.


should i explain the joke to all of you or what?

Perhaps not you or your mother would've done this. But does anyone ELSE in your home have access to that computer and play City of Heroes? That's a possibility.

If you REALLY want to get rid of that and if it (most likely) is a client side mod that somehow got in there, then I can help you find it and remove it. It's pretty easy, really.

Those particular lady parts are also included in a few bundled costume mods...not that I've used any...

Honestly, yes. You're expecting everyone to instantly recognize a glitch on a dark costume set against a dark background. On a costume piece that is exclusive to two ATs that many players still don't have access to, and many players that do have access to may not enjoy using.

Not to mention, the thing doesn't even look off unless you really know the piece or stare at it for a really long time.

If you want to share the "joke" great, but make sure you let us in on it too.

There is, actually.

Note that the character's tail is a very dark color, and how she's standing, you can see the tail curling back 'inwards' behind her as it goes up to attach to the base of her spine.

I think the 'pubes' in question are just part of the dark tail that's visible between her legs.

At least that's how it looks to me.

yeah, its kind of hard to be sure about the presence or lack of details when the screenshot in question is the approximate size of a quarter...

For what it's worth, I was able to spot the problem, though it was due to the fact I've had a similar problem for a few months. I haven't used the tailor to fixit as it seems to be what lets me play with this bug.

Since I couldn't see any details in it, I thought I'd do a little adjustment. I still don't 'get' what the problem is, but maybe some people can see it in this pic.

A patch fixed it I believe. She hasnt had any complaints in a while about anything goofing on her. But, if something like that does ever happen again, how do you fix it? I'm not one to do mods or anything to games, so I have no clue as to where to look or how to do them. Plus, I thought this game would be protected from that kind of stuff anyway.

Only thing I know about when it comes to a game cheat is one for neverwinter nights. The DebugMode=1 cheat, or a gameshark for consoles. Thats all I know of.

Oh yeah, to whom ever that ask if someone got to her comp/game... well my mother lives in a big whats called a mother in law house I have on my property( I have 230 acres) So noone messes or touches her stuff at all, or mine. I have what I call a Ham Shack I keep all my radio and computor equipment in(2 room mini house). NOONE is aloud in there at all but me the wife and my daughters, and they dont mess with daddys stuff So, there is no way whatsoever someone could had gotten to my mothers stuff or my stuff to change anything on the game/computor. Property is fenced off and driveway is gated If I could get away with it the property would have mines all around the borders too.

Actually, iirc, there WAS a bug way back in the day where if you made a topless male, and AFK'd out, and went back and made a female, she'd have a naked male chest; nipples, muscles, and all.

But that bug's been long since squashed, from what I know.

No, Cherokee is full of it.

I have seen that exact same picture before, from a different player who claimed to have taken it himself. And, again, swearing up and down that he wasn't using a client side mod. I mean, that EXACT same picture. Same toon, same pose, same location, same pubes. And the person posting it also claimed it to be legit, and was thuroughly debunked. This was a couple years ago, at least.

(So? I have a good memory for pubes. What, you wanna make something of it? )

This is the CoX equivalent of an urban legend. A picture like this is the result of either a mod or photoshop.
