That sums up how I feel right about now. Maybe it will change; If I do jump to another game, it will be a new one as I have seen now the advantages of being with an mmo from launch. I was here opening month, and even after leaving a year or two I never felt like I was behind the curve) That Aion looks pretty, wonder if it is fun? And it looks to launch about the time my sub here runs out too.

Yeah, I saw a few old-school players come back... just in time to realize how much shittier the game has gotten. I mean, many of us have been sitting in the water for a while and do not notice the boil.
Those that have been away for a bit, esp. pvp'ers, come back and are shocked. Then they promptly leave again.
Which is probably not a problem with the makers of this game, as the pvp'ers were not what they were really focusing on at any point in the game's history.
I don't think you'll see a sudden evaporation of players, but over time, there will be drops as pre-paid/long-term accounts are not renewed. I know my three are in that category, with one already dropped never to renew. The others are months away.
Maybe they want City of Asskissery? Who knows / Who cares.

One of two things would have to happen, at least half the player base leaves to the point where this game is no longer profitable to NCSoft or their stock takes a dive and they have to liquidate some assets. While CoX is still profitable, I believe it brings in the least compared to the other games, which could make it expendable for liquidation.
