Unique build?

I'm looking for a build that few people-no one has. So the build will probably suck.

AR/Ice or AR/fire. I hardly ever see either of those two.

Go make a DB/Stone Armor tank. thats something I don't think I've ever seen.

But since this is blaster forum, I'm gonna say Energy/traps.

Psi/Fire, and you're right. Compared to any other blaster, it sucks.

I don't think I've ever seen an ice/devices ....

I've actually got an ice/devices on virtue, but he's still in the single digit lvls.

How about Elec/dev?

I've actually seen two on a couple of years in Virtue. It's a strange build but people that run it told me it works.

i would go with elec/device also as my vote.

I avoid builds that are too popular, but I don't ever remember going out of my way to build a toon nobody else wanted.

My first 50 was an Energy/Devices. He does really well. It's nice with Targeting Drone cause you know you're not going to miss. Amd the KB helps. Trip Mine is just pure fun. I'm not liking the drone so much anymore. I like the fact that it moves but it's a lot of end and long activation. But overall it's an awesome build. If you want to see it. PM me in game @Orivon. I like unique builds, even if they are a bit...unwieldy at the end of the game.

Stone/ice tank ftw (does not go well together, at all lol, but I'm sure as hell not leveling another stone tank, FAR too boring)

Ice/FF troller ftw, since I can pretty much chat it up except the 30 seconds out of every 4 minutes I have to bubble people up :P

As far as blasters go, I try not to go too far outside the box, I aim for unique builds in the sense that they mesh well together but aren't seen very often. Fire/Ice isn't "unpopular" but I see more fire/fires around. AR/(anything except devices) and (anything but AR)/devices are going to be fairly unique, IMO, mainly due to the negative feelings surrounding those 2 sets.

AR is a great set though, does more AoE damage then Fire

As for unique I'd go psi/dev or sonic/dev or /fire

I've been DYING to try a psi/dev I'm just not ready to build another blaster yet. Workin on a tank and coupla scraps. next blaster will def. be a Psi/Dev, meanwhile if you want a non-popular but amazing to play blaster go Ice/Elec it truly was a beauty from 1-50.

I'm not sure how unique some of these choices are. I played my ice/elec to 50 about 2 years ago, and right after I dinged, I seemed to find a decent amount of them sitting around. There also used to be a few players who ran ice/dev for pvp purpposes. Ice/Fire or Fire/Ice seems to be very popular in the lower levels, but not something you see too often in the latter stages of the game. For who ever mentioned AR/anything-but Dev, I'd argue that I''ve seen a decent amount of AR/energy blasters around, even at 50.

Sonic/Dev is a pretty good choice, same with Psi/Fire.

My latest 'project' character is a psychic/mental 'scrapper'. Not one ranged attack - Mental Blast and Subdual are not on my bar and have never been slotted. But I have three power pool attacks.

Basically I thought /MM would be the least effective blapper set apart from /devices, and so far I seem to have been right. But with some judicious IO slotting I do well enough, and my psychic melee scrapper's on track to be my next 50.

I have NEVER seen an Ice/Psi.

And the combo looks like it could work well... the huge -rech you could stack on baddies would be impressive. Also, /psi's aoe could make up for Ice's lack of aoe.

Also, both damage types are among the least resisted in the game.

I have a lvl 2 ice/psi blaster... some day I start developing him.

yeah, I made an ice/mm for the exact same reason, but I've been sick of the grind since i13 and never got her past lvl 7

I have a sonic/electric and an arrow/fire. (My namesake is the arrow/fire) Have seen a few arrow/fire but no other sonic/electrics as of yet.
