When you make toons based on your children. I've done this!
When you start to believe your life is a Nemesis plot.
You know you've been playing CoX too long when.. you wonder why when your outside and cannot toggle you defense abilities

It's not. Let me assure you of that. Also, Nemesis is totaly down with the street.
That blue thing running around saying "Cookies are sometimes food" is Praetorian Cookie Monster!

you believe that when you need medical assistance, you are immediately teleported to the hospital.
when you close your eyes in bed at night and all you can see are those orange numbers floating over and over...( this happens to me )
when you tell your rl friends you already have plans...and then play CoH with your ingame ones.
and i know this has happened lots IRL 
.... when you MARRY your ingame friend IRL.
When you start to think of what your main toon would do in certain RL situations.
When you try to respec out of poor life decisions.

Have done this... OFTEN.
When you start figuring out the Origin/AT/Powersets for your family... including your grandchildren! 
When you wonder if you could take your boss if he were an AV.

When you try to leave CoH, but can't click that button to cancel your subscription.
When you wake up one day and you realize you've spent half your life sitting at the computer to play it.
you can stand in Atlas park for 2 hours and do next to nothing.
When you drive by a row of black and white mailboxes and reach for your tab key because you think they are skulls. (Happened to my dad)
When you come to a plaque and are surprised to not see a big blue hand appear over it. (happened to me)
When you claim that the Rikti are real and they are coming to invade Earth!

when you think you can jump from a skyscraper and survive with 1 hp left.
When you remember people doing arcs to level.
You travel to New York and go up to the top floor of the Empire State Building. You leap off and try to activate "Fly" and you fall 102 stories to your death! ...Oops!

when you refer to your plans being cancelled or something that went wrong in your life as being "nerfed"...
ie: a) mute was on tv by accident, you might ask " hey, who "nerfed" the volume?"
b) buddy had a date then the girl doesn't go through with it...he could say his date got "nerfed"
When your teacher asks why you didn't turn in your homework, and you say you were ambushed by Tsoo on your way to school. They took it...it was a Nemesis plot.

long and true story , becouse it just happened to me tonight.
i work for a mid' minnesota radio station, and just tonight was trying to do this commercial for an ag place. the product was highlighting a fan barns ( not really cooling the cows down, but draws the hot air and dust out of barns ).
after doing what i thought was a great job i listened to it again, and something didn't sound right .. yeep, insteed of saying "barn fan" i kept saying " ban farm". took me 7 more tries befor i got it right.
Ban farms .. only if you've been playing an MMO way to long.
when you know the streets in Paragon better than the place where you live.
