You know you've been playing too much City when...

... you nearly blow through a stop sign because you're frantically looking for your chat window in the corner of your windshield.

... you see a plaque on the side of the road and scream "BADGE!" and have a hard time convincing yourself not to pull over.

... you keep trying to use right-click or page-up/mouse-move to rotate the camera angle for the web page you're browsing. [edit: I see this is a common occurrence.. heh.]

... you schedule vacations and appointments specifically so they don't conflict with 2xXP weekends.

... you take Thursday though Monday off from work for 2xXP weekends, tell all your friends and family "Please don't call me", and stock your kitchen with quick-to-ready food.

... as soon as the alcohol induced buzz kicks in the first words that come out of your mouth are something along the lines of "Oh hey about this thing in City..." ... even when in the company of people who have never played a single MMO ever.

All from personal experience, of course.

...when looking at a landscape, and thinking it looks like an area in the game.

...when you are walking down a corridor in an office building an pause before going around a corner.

...when you are shopping for clothes and you get an idea for a new costume for a toon.

you email Mars, Inc. to let them know the blue skittle is missing from their original flavor pack.

when you look at people and classify them like, oh! That guys a minion. Or Hey, that ones a Lieutenant or he's a Arch-Villain!

when you start posting in threads reminscing about playing City of Heroes for so long.

When every time you hear about a new veteran badge, you try to work out if you've got it yet.

you remember using these...

... You work in retail, you walk up to the cash register to help out with a long line, and you allmost litterally "taunt" the next customer. I didnt do it, but just out of playing my tank all the time, I ALLMOST put my hand up in a "come here" motion and made that "OooAHH" sound. LOL

Your boss calls a meeting and you try to /hide_all

you respec pre-IO lvl 50s because you're bored.

You stand in front of a door and move around, waiting for a blue hand to appear.

You see the letters BNY on a numberplate of the car in front of you, and immediately think a muscular midget is driving.

you have 36 50s on more than one server.

can't hold a single conversation with any of your friends without making atleast 1 City of Heroes/Villains reference, and your friends smack you because they get the references.

you can't find a single thing you haven't done before.

Survivor mode TFs are more fun than regular TFs.

For that matter, if you've ever gotten between an unfamiliar cat and a pack of dogs and said, "I'll help you arrest those naughty spawns," you have DEFINITELY spent too much time playing CoH!
