I have a new character that I basically just used all the new stuff on it seems, lol. I had a concept for a long time for a character who fought crime in her sleep and had no idea she was a heroine. I finally got an appropriate name and whipped her up.

Hey there are medicines now that warn against sleep driving and other things. It's kinda scary actually...

[/ QUOTE ]My concept is that she was one of those citizens in the green energy that we regularly rescue from the CoT, but some of that power bonded to her. Now when she has nightmares where she "battles her inner demons", her body actually goes out and does it.

That concept reminds me of that Sleepwalker character Marvel had fall wayside. I thought that was always funky.

[/ QUOTE ]You're the second person who's mentioned that character to me, and I'd never heard of him before. But you actually linked it to Marvel, so I looked it up. Thankfully there are enough differences. Their guy was actually an extradimensional being who bonded to a normal guy and would be able to materialize when the guy slept, also communicating with him through his dreams. My gal actually has powers but only accesses them via her subconscious mind, thus her secret identity only emerges when she sleeps. It's almost like she has a split personality, sort of her mind's way of dealing with what happened to her.

No worries. Just said it reminded me of Sleepwalker. That's one of those characters in the Marvel Universe who had their own comic book and fell wayside. Kinda like Darkhawk and Deathlok.
