I probably have a lowbie tanker on most servers, though many were made just to test costumes. I'd love to get the chance to get to play them, especially since almost everybody will be equally low in level until we get around to somebody's home server.

I second that. Especially since I don't have the time or inclination to start up a lowbie tanker on whatever server the event happens to be on... that's a time investment I can't match, unfortunately (I think it will go the same for many... I've seen more than a few post and say they can't do TTs because they don't want to start a lowbie on Champion). I'll join in when I can, but really, Victory and Champion are the only servers I have much of a presence on heroside.

One idea that was thrown out on Champions is:
1st Tuesday keep things they way it is and 2nd Tuesday do the Traviling Road show Of tanks.
Get the fear of having a low tank someplace and wonder if you will get back to it. Opens things up to other servers and maybe some ppl will step up and drive the 1st tues on there home server.

I just want to make sure someone stays behind on Champion on the first Tuesday (and it doesn't have to be the same someone) to hold the event on Champion in addition to whatever server is hosting the road show that month.
I also wouldn't want to go to a new server and try and host an event with out a "sponsor" to grease the wheels so to speak.
I wouldn't know the community on other servers, but I'm sure there are tanks on other servers that do, and rather than having us level 1 Championites go to say Justice and try to host an event, I'd like to participate in a Justice-run Tanker Tuesday with my lowbie baby tank.
I can just see a bunch of L1 tanks in King's Row running around shouting, "Come join our tank only event!" Not sure that would fly...but then again, it just might!

I would advocate a different Tuesday.
Two reasons:
1) Player Dilution. Lots of regulars like being regulars at the event. Spreading us out across 2 servers lessens the tankage at each.
2) Organizational Problems. Sometimes I try to organize a cool event (like the Mothership raid). Im sure events will be planned on other server TTs as well. If these were to conflict, players would have to choose between them, and I dont think the point is to conflict with each other.
Lastly, I would recommend taking the last months upto the 5th Anniv to do this.
By my calander Oct 6th is the 60th.
So in reverse week order:

Sept 8th: Virtue

Hey I like this idea, what if we all (everyone who wants to participate) started new toons on whatever server in succession on the Tuesday before the regular TT date and time. And we all make toons that look exactly like The Ring, I have the code for a take on his signature outfit. That would make a fun splash, 7 to 13 lvl1 tanks running around AP advertising TT, we could all spend like 10mins and get to lvl 3, and do the same thing the next time.

My opinion is keep it simple: Tanker Tuesday is the first Tuesday of the month.
I understand the desire to keep the streak running on Champion, but I think the travelling from server-to-server idea sounds like fun and will give a lot more players the opportunity to join in. Champion will always be the home of Tanker Tuesday, even if it's not being held there.
Everyone's so caught up in MA that this idea hasn't gotten a lot of feedback, but as someone who from e/o beta 04 till now has rarely strayed from Champion, I'd have fun spending a little time spreading the TT cheer around. =B
Keeping the original Tanker Tuesday on Champion is important I think. But moving the get together around to other servers is a great idea. I'm mostly on Freedom now, I would love a Tanker day there too. I have a lot of tanks on Freedom (I'm a bit of a tanker addict).
I think the original should stay as is as the first Tues of each month. The Tanker Tuesday Traveling Road Show (TTTRS) should be done on other Tuesdays. Personally, I'd show up no matter which server it was on. Either I have a tank there already or I'd make a new one.

I like the idea of keeping it on Champion myself. The old adage if it isnt broke, why fix it comes to mind. I guarantee attendance will suffer because of server changing confusion. Just my two cents

Why not have champion on the first tueday of the month per the normal and on the 3rd thuesday of hte month pick 1 of hte other servers to have it on. That provides 2 weeks of promo time for people who call that server home to get people together for it.
Heck if this kicks off gimme enough notice on when your gonna be on justice and i'll put it out to the entire justice radio community (course i should promo tanker tuesdays anyways just cuase it's a awesome idea and a long standing tradition in the game)

Ok, it looks like the consensus is to have TT on champion on the first Tuesday, and the TT Tour happen on the 3rd Tuesday, so we could try to have TT on Freedom next week on the 21st, or wait until May.
The other question is should we try to have the Tour on 2 servers each 3rd Tuesday to try to get every server by the TT 5th Anniversary in October, or just go with 1.
I vote for just one, because I don't want to split up our resources even though it would be nice to have had at least 1 TT on each server before the Aniversary.

Sounds great! I'm a big fan of TT. Would agree to keep the original on Champion, have a ton of Tanks on all servers. I'll be there when the word is given. And, the 21st seems like a good time to start!

Okay, so how should this be advertised? It should probably be posted in the Player Events, Tanker, Champion, and the server the TTTour is gonna be on which is Freedom.
I'm not an expert on forum rules, but I have a feeling posting the same post in different areas is against them.
Any advice?
I'd also like to have a few volunteers show up maybe an hour early(8 pm est) to broadcast in the server's zones.
There doesn't have to be any formal contract. You can just show up early, say "hi" on our channel TankHQ, and start spreading the word.
Also, any Freedom Tanker peeps who'd like to co-host this event, you're all welcome. Also, speak up if you want to lead a all-Tank TF at the event. We try to put those together first.
I was also thinking that during the Wall team picking, it would be easier if the Tanks with the same number held up would stand near each other.
I also thought maybe we could add a number 0 to the list for folks that are new to Tanks, and might want to take a Intro to Tanking 101.

I propose holding TT on a different server each month, going alphabetically. It'll be kinda like a traveling circus with smash.
We can do the usual forums event posts, with the addition of this months server forums, plus whoever wants to can show up early, and do some guerrilla broadcasting in that servers zones to try to get some added interest.
Alternately, we could have a Home, and Away Team where whoever wants to can stay on Champion.
I'd like to keep everyone together though, even if it means having to roll up newbie tanks on the other servers, since I'd rather have one big gathering instead of lots of little ones split up by servers. I think it gives a better sense of comradery, and let's you meet more of your fellow Tank enthusiasts, and gives a better selection for forming teams.
Since TT is really run like an anarchist collective where there really aren't any leaders, and everybody has a vote, I want to put this out to my fellow, and possible future Tanker Tuesday attendees.
