Rereturn of the Leviathan Guild
Hey, if the game can give me Carnie missions like "Defeat Aribeth and his guards"...
it has gone from unconscionable to downright appalling that we have no way of measuring our characters' wetness.

I just want to say how impressed I am with the library in our base. It was jaw-dropping the first time I saw it, and it's still awesome. I popped in today to drop a Sunstorm mission and had to linger in the library awhile because it's just so amazing.
Statesmonkey Sez: Lighten up! It's a game, for Lincoln's sake!

Six months ago:
Me: Whatcha doing?
Mr. Sins: Stacking desks
Me: Why?
Mr. Sins: For the library
Me: Oh. *wanders off*
6 hours later:
Me: Are you still at that?
Mr. Sins: Grrrrr
Me: There's this movie playing I'd like to see.
Mr. Sins: Can't... leave.... desks
Me: *departs for movie*
The plan for tomorrow:
-Cape Mission Final!
-Final Faultline Arc
-First Striga Arc
Thursday:
Moonfire TF! Starting on time, don't be late!
The Tuesday After:
Synapse Task Force, sans Siolfir and Gol
So I bounced all over Paragon doing the set up for the Cape Mission. What a boring and pointless set of time wasters. Seriously. Not to be overly critical, but at least Positron's task force had stuff for us to do. Not this. Take the train, talk to some faceless mook. Take another train, talk to another mook, repeat until someone directs you somewhere with bad guys. Tedium ensues in the meanwhile.
And does it really need to be such a punk pain in the hemoroids to even zone Blue side? I mean honestly, I'm still memorizing Green Line, Yellow Line, Terror Level Orange and all of that. And while I'm reading the destinations to see if this train goes where I need to go, the damn thing pulls out! So now, I've picked my destination, but I am stuck waiting for the train to come back, so I can get the load screen and move forward. This, ladies and gentlemen, is my life. Waiting, so I can get to a load screen. It probably doesn't take as long as it feels like. Nothing could take as long as that feels like.
BUT, I will say this, since I'm rambling anyway. Bouncing over Independence Port I saw this huge friggin Octopus with all these tentacles slapping around over the dock! Then, on my way out, I almost Super Leaped right on top of the crazy thing! We have SO got to fight that. That is just really freaking cool.
Also, I checked out the base, since it was a less annoying way to get from A to B. That library set up is very impressive. Two blood soaked spectral thumbs up.

Ah, Lusca. You'll need multiple teams to take her out. Count me in if you want to put something together... to get her.
See what I did there?
Seriously, keep me posted.
Blood Spectre wants to go fishing, huh? Well, how about on Thursday, February 12, 2009 we keep an eye on the zone alerts and when Lucas comes up we'll try and take her out. What's Guardian's badge channel? I'll broadcast our intents there.
Lusca is always up, so the only trick would be to get a couple of teams together.
I'm not sure if Guardian even has a badge channel.

sooo you do go into battle without fair warning..Lusca is AKA DEBT DEALER Machine...as long as you all dont mind maxing your debt out, its a fine thing to take on!
Good Luck!!!
Controllers and Defenders RULE!

Patrol XP is a beautiful, beautiful thing.
Lusca shouldn't be much of a problem if we can get some damage dealers, maybe another damage mitigator. With two tanks, force fields and a kin, we've got some of the basic building blocks for monster hunting right there. I'm not familiar with trick archery vs monsters, but I don't think Aluriel and I can pump out *quite* enough damage to take her down. The ideal monster hunter in my experience is a rad, so if we can pick up a rad and a couple of blastery/scrappery folks, we'll have sushi in no time.
Oh, and welcome to the maze, Spectre. Yellow is for lowbies, Green for the big stuff. Islands need ferries, except for Talos, which is the hub of all existence. Zoning blueside is its own minigame. Honestly, I've seen people set up races.

Feeling like this mission teleporter power is going to be a good investment.
Paragon Unleashed, Unleash Yourself!
Believe in the mission teleporter it is your friend especially on Blue-side
Yeah Lusca is fun I was on a team on Liberty once, and we fought Lusca.
I was playing a rad/kin there was 2 teams, and we had sushi pretty quick. you have to take out each tenticle first then the main body.
If you guys wanna do this count me in i'll bring the wasabi
I'm having huge problems with my chat in-game.
I have the "devil fish" badge on my blaster but need it on my Scrapper, so if I am in game send a shout and I will bring some DualBlade Damage to the Fish Fry!

I thought I'd toss out a warning about our forthcoming trip to Striga Island. IIRC, Stephanie Peebles, the first contact, is a little finicky about giving out her story arc. She's got a couple random missions she may saddle folks with first, and she's indicative of how the other Striga contacts act as well. I'm not sure how to handle that, other than blowing her off.
If everyone's hit 25 by the time we finish the Moonfire TF, we may want to simply skip Striga and head for Croatoa. Or snag the new Midnighter contact to tide us over to 25, and then move on? I dunno, but I figure we need alternative strategies.
Skipping Striga would be a shame, really. The contacts give out some really nice temp powers and the Hess TF they unlock is pure awesome in a can. But other than picking one person's missions and just running those, I don't know how we can reliably get through the whole series.

Dude, I need merits. I cant afford to get locked out of an arc because the game's artificial stupidity ( as opposed to artificial intelligence) hasn't been updated to match it's current reward system.
Paragon Unleashed, Unleash Yourself!
From the Adventure Diary of Countess Clink Clank
Yesterday we earned our capes, learning of the brave Hero 1 and in the process, more about the Rikti. We then returned to Faultline, where we did some work for Agent G of the Longbow, fighting several powerful villains in the process.
I'm slowly becoming accustomed to the Professors manifestations and must even admit they are useful. Still, tomorrow we are headed to Striga Isle to meet with Moonfire and hopefully learn more about this phenomina.

OOC Things: Although I agree the Hess TF is made of awesome, I feel Croatoa is unique enough to head there and do those arcs. We can always flashback to unlock the Hess TF. The truth is, we're just leveling too quickly to be able to see it all on the first pass.
The Moonfire TF requires all members to be level 23 or up. If you are NOT level 23, please make sure you get there by tomorrow night!
Next Tuesday we'll be down two members, so will do the Synapse TF instead and then Thursday its something else exciting, including a face off with a giant octopus.
Sorry again about last night guys, you know how it, i hope. I guess i picked the wrong time to join a superteam, but it should all be cool.
By the way, what are your thoughts on the Valentine's Day event? Should we take an evening, maybe Thursday of next week to unlock the costume parts, earn the badges?
Because you adore fighting Snaptooth?
He's not so bad when he doesn't do his, "constant burrowing in the ground so you constantly lose target" shtick over and over again.
Also, barring TFs, one mission is as good as another to me.
