Des's budding art collection.

I'm quite happy to say John and I have bonded as countrymen, as artists, and because of COH as subject matter in our work... he is a very giving person, and always worth commissioning for the quality of his pieces. Funny how DA brings the world closer?

Des always looks good, and Becaro always does great stuff, so I guess it's no surprise that I dig this one too! Her hair does look awfully good.

Somewhat sad it's been so long since I have updated this thread...but hey I got new stuff.

Fresh off the digital art presses (if there is such a thing), Desmodas vs Lilitu by CoH Art Forums own Juggertha. I've toyed with the idea of a "versus" line of art for Desmodas and Juggertha seemed like an obvious choice to me. To me, all of his artwork does a great job of conveying action. The instant I saw the sketches, I knew Juggertha was on the right track. Outstanding job there Juggs.

I already saw the Juggertha piece at dA and thought it was very nifty. He's definitely a perfect choice for a vs concept.

Been a while since I've announced new works I've commissioned, but it's not for a lack of trying There's actually several pieces in the works. Coming soon.....I hope

Anyways, most here are familiar with Dark Vanessa , from whom I expecting a few pieces. She's a tad slow paced, but I really like her style. A close friend of mine did a huge favor for me so I chose to express my gratitude with an artwork of one of her characters done by Dark Vanessa. So here's Madame Pistacio by Dark Vanessa. Hope she likes it.

No one believes me, but I'll say it anyway. I requested certain attributes be reduced in the preliminary sketches. In retrospect I should have asked for further reductions but the sketch looked so good I decided I'd live with it

heh nah I believe ya, after following eBas's dA account for a year and seeing how many times he's mentioned that the publisher has asked to make the girl's breasts bigger on a drawing he's done, I'll nearly believe anything lol

so her.... wings were already reduced once? damn... lol

I've only had one commission where the boobs on one of my chars might have been too big for the char, but due to the artist, it was kinda expected beforehand lol

Mmmmm... Candra does some very very nice work.

Lady Judgment does not currently have an active account with CoH, but most of you here know him very well. He was working on a piece for me before he left, but had to move since then so there were a few unforeseen delays. He kept me updated, so I didn't mind. Besides, it was worth the wait. Desmodas vs Baphoment turned out great. Dynamic pose, Baphomet getting his "comeupence", and my girl looking vicious.

Anyone know any other artist who does commissions in that style? I've been thinking about starting a collection ... and Candra has a "not taking orders" message.

There are a couple of my CoH toons that I'd love to have artistically rendered....
