Dood, that's why you go for the mint flavored ones. At least then it tastes like boring mint, and that's at least better then pure boring is. And it's really effing hard to screw up MINT as a flavor.
That, or you could just try mixing it with other stuff until the anagram of everything piled into it spells something awesome. I mean, how can you go wrong there? It spells something awesome, it's gotta TASTE awesome!

Well, we now know....
My DA page had a thumbnail of a nsfw pic on the main page, and so the link to my DA page was removed from my sig.
As much as I hate it, it seems we all either need to not include DA home page links in our signatures, or remove faves and gallery shots from out DA home pages.

Bleh. Well, I don't link my main DA page usually because I prefer people to visit my website. I'll keep it in mind to keep the NSFW things away from the featured art section and safely tucked away within the gallery, a few clicks away.
You can only view not work safe pictures on DA if you have an account and are logged into it....
So it shouldnt be a problem linking to pictures like that on DA (because even if people go directly to the link, they wont see anything unless they are members and if thats the case, they already have their own settings for what they would like to see or not see)

Unfortunately, that only works if the artist that posted the piece has flagged it as NSFW, which is not always the case.

That doesn't matter now - the devs have DA accounts, and are modding based on that previous level of access. So you cannot link your home page if there is/might be a "mature" piece there. As I said, you will need to remove Faves from your page, and your gallery, if there are such pieces showing there...thumbnails links there are now enough. I'd thought about linking to a page that has a link to my page, but haven't gotten that far as yet.
Edit: If I knew how to do it, I'd look into doing a DA or other such page that was nothing but links to everyone's DA pages, so everyone could use that as a pass-through portal.

Excellent idea. I thought about doing that by using a journal entry but that is much cleaner.
See it's all this 'flirting around with the rules' that gets us in trouble.

If you have a pic you want to share you are going to have to find a way to bury it or post it in such a way that it is not easy to get to (as in, more than one click).
Please keep in mind the subject of this forum, and those who may be viewing it.
Personally, I have a lot of non-postable art that I only share with a select few who I know would be interested in them. But they are certainly not the type I would care to post publicly. So i don't post them here at all.
(and truth be told I do try to get the artist to do two versions, one postable and one ... not. Sometimes it works out well )

I'm not sure why you do - I can understand people wanting to make sure that they are doing something that fits with the current moderation rules so that they don't get hit by the hammer. Perhaps when they click your link to your DA page and find a fave that was questionable and remove your link, you will understand why people want to get this right.

Dark, SoulTrains Redirect idea should work for your DA link it dosn'y nescarrily have to have "Here be porn" listed on the redirect
