I agree. Most people don't bother to read the whole forum rules and may not want to comb through them to find the pertinent information. This way it's easily accessible for newcomers.

Well lets take a look at a forum where the posters are allowed a bit of leeway in this case PWNZ , nothing against PWNZ but the mods practicly live there and id rather not have every third post in a thread be from a mod ((nothing personal mods))
They are allowing the cheesecake but they are drawing the line at things with a heavy sexual content , im pretty sure none of us should be surprised .
They even gave us a way around that but geez folks think before you post .

I've tried to stay away from this-I don't have a dog in this fight. However, it is possible that someone could post a DA site that is perfectly SFW and between the time they post it and the time someone clicks it, the individual either entered a new NSFW deviation or picked a NSFW favorite.
In that case, not their fault. So, do the rules get them in trouble or take into account their lack of control of the page linked to?

on one hand I don't think we should be held to puritanical standards were one has to wear a potatoe sack over themselves .
on the other hand I really think it shouldn't be that hard for folks to avoid posting adult adult content ((my oponion of course ))
There are a few people that would love nothing better then to have only their small minded view of what is acceptable become the new standard , Id prefer policing our own and not forcing the mods to live here

actually the only link we are sure was pulled down was the link posted by Zenvious of his wifes character so we might want to pm him to see who the artist was ...I don't remember the picture itself to be of a adult nature though

The abscence of an item does not negate the existence of an item. However the prescence of an item does confirm the existence of an item. The question is is there an abscence of the prescence, or a prescence of the abscence? And can Rowr learn to spell? That is the real question.
I'd argue a view of semantics on that one -
It was vaguely adult in nature, but nothing really beyond a racy magazine cover. Which doesn't even come close to seeing my bar on what I consider adult stuff, but by technical definition..
It was about the farthest thing from explicit (or even anything beyond suggestively adult) I can think of, though, while still fitting a technical definition of adult.

The picture itself was far from NSFW. There was nothing wrong with it at all. The only thing I can think of was that the artist's page link may have had (at the time someone looked) some more-than-mature stuff.
Were that the case, it would have been better to modify the post to remove that than to nuke an entire thread, I think.

Im actually rather intrested in who posted what and where so we can figure out what exactly prompted the removal ((yeah obviously something NSFW)) but by knowing what was banned it helps give us an idea of what not to post .
After reading Kohs post I had to check the various Dragonberry pictures to see if they might have offended ...I don't think they would but im unsure about what does and dosn't offend .
