A place I can recommend for all would be the WaterPark of America (located near the Mall of America). Its an indoor waterpark thats pretty impressive and fun for all, and the hotel is pretty solid as well. The Mall of America is right there for shopping and entertainment as well. And depending on your sport preference, you've got NBA, NFL, NHL, and MLB teams in the Minn/StPaul area. Pretty cheap too since it isnt a high traffic tourist spot.

My daughter who is 5 been to the MoA a few times for the rides. It is in the heart of the mall.

some places rent boats, canoe's and even have tours on pattle boats.

Naked time for Little Guy went Chernobyl on me. I left him for two minuntes to pack away the power drill. I came back and his [censored] had exploded. He was covered from head to toe.. and had left a crawling trail of the sticky smelly mess on the carpet. I wrapped him in a towel and bathed him immediately.. got him dressed and into his exersaucer while I scraped up and scoured out the carpet with soap and water.. I've sprayed prosolve onto it and will go back over it again in a moment. I LOL'd.. glad that's over.

Sooooooo glad my youngest is finally toilet trained (for the most part... fingers crossed) Once he'd figured out how to walk, and even worse how to RUN, it was naked time all the time. He'd ditch his clothes and just take off running all over the damn place. And man, let me tell you, that just ain't sanitary. BUT, at least you had your Mt. Vesuvius moment at home, as opposed to... oh I don't know... say for instance, the checkout line at Best Buy. Because let me tell you, that sucks.

Oh I had my MT. Vesuvius moment happen IN LINE 5 minutes before the doors opened for Anime North. It went right up his back and I had to change him on a grassy knoll while a bunch of Anime Characters gawked. The doors opened mid-change and my other two kids were GONE.. so I had to stuff him into his carriage smelling awful and half naked to catch up to the others and the nice security guard let me change him behind a curtain.

Wear pants when you use the weed eater. Or not and learn the painful way when a piece of line breaks and lacerates your shin. *ouch*

I remember assembling the monster sets for the schools back in Omaha. Those were a blast to put up. We had to test them out.... for safety reasons of cource.

And im really glad my kids are older now..... well sort of. Grape juice on the shirt was the worst thing in the laundry for a while. Teenage girl... ill just stop there.

OK so our youngest is now about 7 months old and he has his 1st tooth. One of the two bottom ones (right side) and now he does this funny thing with his tongue.. he sticks it out the side of his mouth when he's concentrating. It is way too cute. I was a little concerned because he got it so late but I have to keep remembering he was a month premature... it's driving me nuts. I keep thinking "Why isn't he doing this yet" or "When is he going to do that?" Yup driving me crazy. Oh and he loves the sound of Miz Nibbles voice on vent. He even babbles at her

My son is a Freak.

Last night during the all tanker Sister Psyche TF, I had to stop periodically to keep some of the Freak Stunners in view because appearently having a Jacob's Ladder as part of your costume is really cool. He so wants one on his backpack for school this fall. (He's only 6, so that might have some safety issues.)

But on the upside, he is getting better with sounding out names, like Freakshow and Malta Operatives, tho the Knives of Artemis are still a problem. Hooked on Phonics: City of Heroes edition.

No more underwear for the 3 yr old... he keeps poohing in his pants.. and it's not his fault!@ The stupid lid to his little toilet keeps falling down or gets knocked down and because he only has the one functioning arm he cant unlock the friggin thing in time to get on it and VOILA! Insta-mess! He's had 6 accidents this week alone.. I've had to throw away 4 pairs of underwear. I'm so angry rt nao and it's not his fault. He didnt do it. SHE did. And it's not over yet.. it'll never be over...There's always going to be one more thing that he can't do... only this time he's going to be at school where I cannot protect him and the kids are going to make fun of him and he's going to need therapy before he hits puberty!! >.> ok the rant over at least.

Can you take the lid off or jerry-rig it open til he gets the hang of it?

My paranoia atm is eldest son.. never gets sick. He's been in Summer camp. Came home with nasty cough, and threw up lastnight. Better NOT be H1N1.. fingers crossed.

Poo problems happen and kids at school can always be solved with the business end of a .38 snub-nose.

but seriously, you should think about taping the lid up so he doesn't have to worry about the time issue. It won't take too long before he learns to give himself more time.

School starts NEXT WEEK! Eeeek!

Went to comiccon with the boys. First time they went. The older one was always trying to sneak peeks at the naked art and pointing out the cute girls in costumes. The younger one spent the whole time telling me about his pokemon characters and about the new games for his playstation.

Ahhh. The difference 3 years make.

Have you heard of Maple Story?
It's a side-scrolling Chibi-style anime, Half-MMO that is rated for E for Everyone.
It's cute, and a life-saver when I had to babysit my buddy's munchkins.
You wife and kids might enjoy it.

Seperating. He wants to keep the baby. I said no. He wants his ex girlfriends daughter to raise him while he's at work. I said No Way. I understand that he's feeling cornered and lashing out but he's NOT raising him.. or keeping him from his brothers and sister.

Thanks for the rant.
