Deadline is Saturday, May 17. Good luck and get creating!

YAY!

Also feel free to use the named color chart in my sig so you don't have to make those scrawls around the colors :P

Wow! You really went all-out on that one, didn't you? I think we can simplify it a little. We could use letters and numbers in a bingo-style "Use colors B4, H2, E9, etc.." or we could use a more coordinate system - "Row 4, Col 5".

What do you all think?

I really love making golden age/minimalist costumes, and I'm staying there on purpose - I'm making a Pallet-based Superteam, see :

(oh, and Gamma Gaia will be a plant/storm troller, yeh )

Nice!!!

I love all ofthose costumes, and I would pay good money to see a Golden Age-y comic starring those characters. Can you post the powersets for all those folks? I think I can remember most of them and figure the rest out, but I don't remember what the Ghosty guy's powers were.

Either way is fine with me...I'm partial to bingo though. Just so I don't have to count columns. :P (I can always just make another chart with the Row Column version. I still have the PSD file.

Oh and here's one of my entries: Ice Jester

The image won't load for me Alt. Could it be an exceeded bandwidth thing or just an inaccurate path?

Yeah, going for a Native American look and character. He looks right on my Nvidia Geforce 7600 GS. Same complexion as my grandfather.

I'm really enjoying the challenge of these contests... I normally only use 3 colors.

Siberian Spring-50 (Cold/Rad, Rad/Ice, Ice/Rad, Sh/Ice) - KGB SS8
Chernozem-50 (Ice/MM, Emp/Ice, MA/Regen) - KGB SS8
Wila-50 (Dark/Arch) - KGB SS8
Also: Krassivy Mechtayu-50 (Ill/Rad) - KGB SS8; Ms. Hypatia-50 (Dark/Regen)

Glad you're having fun with this, Baisleac.

Hopefully, it'll be a good mix of palettes, but if you ever feel like I'm being repetitive, lemme know.

Thanks mate I'm glad you like them I need to go back and check on Ghostly's and Compatriot's specifics, but they're both scrappers; Jungle Shade is a warshade (former assassin working in south and central america), Gamma is a controller (plants/storm), and Snow is a controller that can make ice/snow illusions.
thanks again for the compliment!

My webhost likes to do quirky things to the server in the morning, which annoys me to no end.

The link should work just fine.

I think I'll take a another shot, not happy with that one anyway.

And here's my entry: Azure Barracuda

A mutant with a knack for scuba diving, he uses a cross of his sharp claws and swift, water-like movement to combat the enemies!

That is one nasty-looking rabbit!

I was messing around with the palette on test last night, but I didn't take any screenshots. Maybe I'll show it off later.

Remember, entries are due Saturday!

Where are you getting these palettes? I went to the URL that was posted and it was a... software development firm?

I is confuzzled.

Try: http://kuler.adobe.com/

I'm too lazy to put the formatting right.

Also, my main account is inactive due to me starting school and not having enough time to actually make it worth it to pay to play but I wanna test things and I want to try my hand at this palette. I did "Project Glory" for the last one in the first contest. I think I'm gonna go with a grey instead of the one blue though, the Kuler palette strikes me as more grey even though the dominant color is blue but I don't know. Just a head's up in case my entry looks weird when I get done with it and post it. Gonna work on it as soon as test stops patching.

Edit: ARGH! I can't log into test with the temp account. I is sad now.

I got the palette from kuler.adobe.com originally, and Seraff matched it as well as can be to the Character Creator colors. The link above should take you to a jpg of the color selection. I'm not sure how you got to a software firm.

www.kuler.com goes to a software development company.

Thanks for clearing it up.
