Additional Character Slots Announcement

This is a great way to add the new character slots.. thanks for the update Posi.
Now I'm even more excited for i12!

I think I'll be splitting between those two in all likelihood. And I'm entirely amused that just Sunday I deleted several characters. I don't mind though, I wanted to reserve I12 names anyway

When you buy slots you get 1 slot to assign to a server of your choice (or more than 1, depending on how much you spend). Like the Rename and Server transfers, once done it's permanent.

The free slots (both i12 and vet reward) are simply free uses of the purchase system. So 2+ freebies to distribute as you choose.

I'll have to get some clarification from the tech guys, but as I understand it the Training Room Test Server Environment touches against it's own authentication, test billing and account server. As such, anything done there would be separate from your live account. I'm not sure how Optional Character Slots will be tested or allowed to be used on Training Room. When we find out more details, we'll let you know.

First of all, it's more messing with the live database. It means they have more to back up if something goes [censored].

Second, they get charged a fee for processing card info. Even Visa and Mastercard charge a noticable amount, especially on amounts five dollars or less.

The additional slots upfront and retro-active vet rewards in combination with more purchasable slots is truly the way I thought you should have done this... It is just so rare for a business to do things the way I see things, hehe.
I'm really happy, both for the customers and for you guys.

In the end, I believe happy customers trumps digging for every last penny a business can get... and convincing business people to pony-up a few freebies when launching a system to buy something is a rare and wonderful thing, hehe.

It just seems to me that this game is backed by some guys with a lot of heart (And sense)... as opposed to other uncaring companies that I may have been a subscriber to a long time ago...

Ok, so the 5 I buy with $20 will be selected too? I ask because I don't see that on the announcement. It seems omitted in this case, but it's there for the previous freebies.

My only issue is the 2 free initials, but I'll be able to survive

Wow.. 17 pages already.

Just adding my kudos, guys. 2 slots for everyone, and an additional slot for every year is great. And if you need even more than that, $4 a slot (5 for 20) isn't unreasonable at all, considering thats forever!

Looking forward to I12 (and working on my villain.. want vilepics!!!... just 15 levels to go.. o.o;;; )

You can't think of any reason besides paying the electric bill that NCNC may want more money? We've been told (and have no reason to believe we were lied to) that sales of the Wedding Pack led to the inclusion of VEATS in i12. We've been told that ad revenue will be spent entirely on development, allowing more to be done faster. Is the money from this going there too? It seems a good guess that at least part of it will. Will it go to buying hookers and blow for Posi? Maybe. Who cares?
