Sorry I missed the raid last night. I wasn't feeling too good, so took the night off.

It was a lot of fun. We popped my GF's RtR cherry and she had a BLAST. Her defender is only 36 and I told her to just keep Fly on and put me on follow, so she could just concentrate on blasting and stuff.
First thing *right off*, as soon as we got on the ship, I followed a teammate over to help clear an area to set a bomb. But, just as he was calling "fire in the hole", I started a slow attack animation and we did not make it out in time. I lived, barely, but she bought it. She must have died 2 dozen times all told, but we had some great teammates who got her back up and running fast.
I finally got to get a few smacks in on the stupid GM. Don't even know if I got a badge, but at least I have some idea of where to look for next time.
Thanks again to Kitty for running these. For those of us chaos-lovers, they are a lot of fun.

Glad people are having fun at these. Mew does have something planned for the future... but with as much fun as it might be to try, people not listening/willing to cooperate will ruin it before we can even try it.

Actually, we raid the Ship on Wednesday Nights. The random invasions don't have anything to do with the ship raids.

Hmm.. Vega poses a great question. Mew didn't even know about Open Beta starting tomorrow for reasons mew won't release yet (mew's such a tease!). Mew will have to say.. no.
Why? Well, mew won't go to Beta mainly because mew hates leveling characters in a place that's NOT the live server, then having to do it all over again once the issue is released. But many people will indeed do exactly that: go tinker in Beta.
That's fine by mew. Won't hurt to take a night off from thrashing the Rikti. Gods know they could use the time to heal.
On that note.. off to see if mew new vacuum cleaner got delivered yet and then to relax for the night. Make sure to stay tuned if curious about what mew hinted to in the opening paragraph. Gorb, Nomme, Vyx, (few others).. don't go blabbing about it!

As noted in a thread elsewhere on the Protector forum, Storm_Tiger will be taking some time off from running RtR. For the sake of maintaining continuity in RtR events, I will be taking over in Storm_Tiger's absence. I'm not as good as Storm is, but I might get a little better with practice. Just need to remember... 10 before 1... *grin*
On that note, since i12 is in beta, interest in RtR is a little lower right now. We had an impromptu RtR last week and managed to get two good runs in, so I will be there tonight to see what interest there is. I'd like to see at least three teams on each run. Any fewer will prove difficult to handle.
So if you're interested in RtR, make your way to RWZ in time for the 9pm (est) start and I'll hope to see you there! I'll either be on Kiyomeru or Ganbou.

Indeed. I was just thinking RtR should probably rest for this week. With i12 so fresh and new, it'd be a shame to pull people away from the new shiny stuff. RWZ isn't going anywhere. We'll just have to make sure we hit the Rikti twice as hard NEXT week.
So-- bottom line: RtR today (May 21) officially canceled. Should resume as usual next Wednesday. If you see anyone asking about it in game, please let them know. =)
RtR continues on Wed. the 28th of May. Again, it will be touch and go depending on numbers attending. I am aware Badge had to push back his project to this coming Wednesday and I encourage all of those intending to go do that, to do so.
Those of you looking forward to RtR, be there at 9pm EST so that we can get started. =)
