RUSH the RIKTI!!

Hey,
Is the start time 9PM or 8PM? I ask because I have been trying to get a few of my freinds up to speed and showed the Protector Vigilance calendar and it has 8PM. I thought it was at 9PM.

Despite a low turn out tonight we had a solid run. A little bumpy at times but not unbearable.

There are very few people showing up for RtR now days.

Rush the Rikti is Tonight at 9PM Eastern (8PM Central, 7PM Mountain, 6PM Pacific) in Rikti War Zone.

Starting point is Point Du Hoc and teams are typically made on the fly via in-zone chat (Broadcast, Local, etc).

Come out and have some fun!

Hi all!

I just wanted to take a moment and thank everyone and anyone who has ever come to a Rush The Rikti (Mother Ship Raid) event.

I also wanted to inform everyone that I will continue to conduct this even every Wednesday at 9PM eastern until the game's official close, should that be November 30th or some where down the line until real life requirements take me away forcibly.

Additionally, I wanted to let everyone know that I have a twitter account and I can be followed @DrakeCrator or at X207Blitz via X-Fire.

I want to start of by thanking Drake for running these weekly. It is a huge investment to show up week after week and put up with the non-sense that occurs. What I am about to say below has absolutely nothing to do with the raid leadership as they had their hands full with Ukon Grai as this was occurring.


Now that I have said that, I am going to rant a bit about what happened on team two last night.

Last night would have been great except for someone complaining that "Jane" was speaking for "Jane" so the "Jane" that was leading the team gave the star to the other "Jane" because "she" thought "she" was not supposed to have it. This led to the entire team being exemplared down to level 45 for the remainder of the raid. I didn't notice it until the raid was nearly over.

-9 to the bad guys is not a good level to fight a raid at. The unfortunate side effect of this situation was that the entire team and the raid suffered due to no one on our team being able to fight effectively.

TLDR, if you don't know what you are talking about, keep your mouth shut. I am a bit ticked off that the XP and merits weren't there last night due to someone embarrassing the team leader into giving up the star to someone who should have never had it in the first place.

I wondered why I was working so hard trying to keep people alive.

Sadly, those people aren't likely to read this. I wish someone had seen the level change and spoken up about it so that it could have been corrected, I too wondered what was up with the frequent deaths from that team.

I am sorry guys don't blame Jane Denton or whoever made the comment.

I was out of things last night and had physical discomfort that kept taking me AFK. I wound up with the star somehow and didn't realize I gave it to a 45.

I am not blaming you BLA, nor am I blaming Jane Denton. I am certainly not blaming Drake, I appreciate how hard it is to do these things and I bow down to him keeping the faith with running these things every week. Who I am blaming is the person who shot off their mouth and started the whole thing.

It was a regular who made the comments and that person shouldn't have been making you feel bad about having the star. I am more aggravated about the comments about how you weren't intended to have the star that prompted the whole thing than I am about being level 45.

Basically, the whole thing was unnecessary and unneeded. It really doesn't make a **** who has the star on a raid as long as they are appropriate level.

I truly wish that I had caught that or that it had been brought to my attention, I could have fixed it rather easily. The peer pressure to have the star handed off, which I do recall reading, was very unnecessary.

If it does happen again please feel free to bring it up, you might need to PM it to me because you're 100% right I do have a bit of a juggling act going during the raid itself.

On a separate note: This week I will be leveraging the League system a little bit more fully by moving people to the full complement of six teams. This might mean that some teams get split but it is only temporary so that we can plant bombs on all six of the primary grates and will hopefully get more time on the ship.
Please make arrangements to be there on time if not a few minutes early so that can be accomplished. Late comers are still welcome but know you might get shuffled to a different team than your friends while we plant the bombs.

Sorry, woulda been there for Kheld Friday but I had three Archvillains to tank tonight. My 9 month old nephew and 2 nieces.

And all I can say is "Curse of Weariness?" PFFT! Try three kids at the same time!
