...I dunno, maybe something early afternoon at a local restaurant. As I mentioned earlier I'm partial to Trudy's, and there's one pretty close to D&B, but I'm not overly picky, and it's not as if there's a shortage of good local restaurants in Austin.

Were any plans finalized for tonight? I'm starting to think I'll be able to make it but don't know if I'll drive up tonight or tomorrow morning. Also, any "recommendations" for how early I should show up if I haven't registared?
I'd love to Moggie, but it's not looking like I'm going to be able to get away from the office for a couple hours still, and I suspect ya'll are hungrier than that. 
I had a feeling I should've avoided coming in today, looks like I was right.
Might be able to swing dinner if you guys are doing something.

OK, status update:
It's about a 4-hour ride from Dallas to Austin, soooo.... my wife has decided she doesn't really want to go.
So... I fixed the electrical problem on the bike (turned out to be a corroded/melted connector - these things happen with a 22-year-old bike), got it inspected, and then got it registered. So it's highway-legal as well as in top running shape.
SO... I'm leaving here around noon, should be at D&B's by the 6pm start time. I'll be the one riding the red and silver Yamaha.
As for the return trip... hey... I can ride in the dark.
Anyone want my tel#, send me a PM.

Teh Boyfriend and I was there a little earlier to grab a bite to eat before we checked in...but the food was sooooo good that I wouldn't mind eating there again! 
It's kinda funny...when we were there, I was thinking how the place would be perfect if we had a large group this evening!
So we arrived safe and sound and are all settled in at our hotel. We look forward to meeting y'all soon!
Another cool thing in Austin is the castle that richard Garriot(Lord British) built. You may remember him from Ultima. There is a not to scale reproduction of the globe theater on his land. The SCA holds events there every few months.
