Nice job on the City Scoop! Best issue so far IMO...i'm in it! =P Thanks for including me in Behind the Mask, I needed somewhere to publically annoucne my odd opinions. Great job!
Man. I've been sitting here hitting refresh for, like, the past hour and a half! Where's m'paper, boy?! 
There are no words for what this community, and the friends I have made here mean to me. Please know that I care for all of you, yes, even you. If you Twitter, I'm MrThan. Ok, first off... I'll be lookin' to see Bonehead/P-HIL on Pinnacle. You better show, dude!!! That was an awesome story, WTG Cyptic/NCSoft and Ex for helpin' him show off bein' 50 at the con. I would say it's not "The Journey's End", but the "Journey Continues" on Pinnacle!
Secondly... Manticore? Phail!??! STHU.
Dude went ROUGE in secret to get the drop on Arachnos. And he stands up to Statesman regularly. And he's in the Freedom Phalanx... and you're not. Dude so doesn't Phail... He Wins. And the whole Chalice thing... Sister is teh hawt. Yeah, you mention that... but still... WINNAR!

Rose, it's not even funny. It's hardly readable, barely understandable.. how this thing made it into the CS is beyond me.. Looks more like they just took something out of the utter trash and garbage that is the PWNZ forums.

Manticore's not "my hero." My issue is with the quality (or extreme lack thereof) of the piece. Not to mention lack of actual comic content over about the fifth grade level. And that's being generous.

And your "meet in the arena" won't make JMan's random spew of letters any more worthwhile. So your point?
Let me ask you all a question.
When you open a newpaper or magazine, do you read every single thing in it? I doubt it, because I know the average person doesn't read things that don't appeal to him, or find it interesting. Therefore, no one is forcing you to read this. Some people find it funny, some don't, and just because you don't doesn't mean that you should force your opinions on other people.
And when I run across an article of questionable value, one which steps well outside the bounds of quality and the standards the publication has set previously, I let the people running the publication know by stating my opinion.
That is not "forcing" an opinion on anyone. That is *stating* an opinion.
If I ran across an article in "Better homes and gardens" on more effective ways to grow marijuana, I'd complain. If I ran across an article that looked like it was written by a fifth grader that said "The indians wer idiots, they livd in tents, they d-servd to be pwnt by teh youopeans, they wer pwnd!" in Smithsonian or Archaeology Today, I'd complain.
I ran across a poorly written, carelessly thrown together so-called "article" in the City Scoop. I'm making my view and opinion about it known. And that *opinion* is that it was poorly done and does no credit to the rest of the CS, and is an experiment I hope would not be repeated.
Except this article contained nothing having to do with illegal actions, or racial ignorance, so I guess I don't see where you're coming from there.
I understand that you don't think that the article has any place in the scoop. I also understand that many people think that. However you must understand that some people actually enjoyed reading it and liked it.
Week 15 of The City Scoop! a publication for Supers by Supers!
Eight pages of Super goodness! The Scoop leads in this week with a recap of some live and in game organizing to help one of Pinnacles regulars reach 50 for the first time on the GenCon show room floor. Speaking from one who was standing there on the show floor when this all happened, there was an intense energy and anticipation from those of us watching the big screen. Also I was able to hand out hundreds of trial codes as people walked passed and asked What game is that? I was so happy to share the information about our wonderful game and the amazing community that calls Paragon City home. Its hard to describe it but I was genuinely proud watching the community gather to support one individual and it gave me goosebumps when all the community members and the NCsoft team clapped and cheered when the bright yellow words Level Up appeared across the screen.
