When everyone listed on the ladder is "inactive" (i.e. no duel ladder matches have been fought in a month), the next ladder match winner moves into the #1 spot, as though there had been nobody ranked at all. This helps to prevent the top of the ladder rankings from becoming stagnant by allowing active players to move to the top of the rankings. The same effect could be achieved by removing inactive players from the ladder and placing them back into the "unranked" category, but I prefer this method because it's easier to administer and preserves the previous rankings.
So, the two players who have won matches in the last month currently occupy the top two spots on the ladder...
Had a couple of matches over the weekend with Atered Course and I Trow Fire splitting a pair of matches.
In order to help generate more activity, I'd like to set up a weekly "Duel Time" when people who are looking for a fight can find one. With my schedule, I was thinking something along the lines of Wednesday or Thursday night from 9:30 - 10:30 ET. might be a good start. Of course some people have busy schedules, and this may conflict with one group's play time or another, but having a set time could help people find matches and generate more ladder activity. Anyway, just thinkin' out loud. I'll try to set up a time this week or next, and hopefully we can get a few more ladder matches in the works.

If they are interested they should go to the ladder site, apply for membership, and post the characters they want to enter.
You can sign up multiple characters, but please only sign up your own characters.

Great fights, haven't been to test in weeks and this was a nice introduction back. Really wish I had recorded those fights with the blaster, were pretty epic I thought.
