The bad side of DA
I saw it, can he be reported or something?
Also after I had commented on your topic he then started commenting on my stuff but he seemed rather obnoxious and from what I thought was being sarcastic about the stuff I have on my DA. It kinda ticked me off.
O' well.
man that guy's one hell of an [censored]
Even I know it's wrong to take credit for anothers work.
It's a sad truth that people like that are everywhere. Doesn't look like he'll ever understand why plagiarism is wrong until it happens to him.
Goodbye, I guess.

hahaha, I posted the "chat" with him.
Anyone speak Spanish?
I tried to translate some of that ... I think I blew up the systran server at Babelfish.
"City of Heroes. April 27, 2004 - August 31, 2012. Obliterated not with a weapon of mass destruction, not by an all-powerful supervillain... but by a cold-hearted and cowardly corporate suck-up."
I know puta means b*tch but I don't know if he spelled it correctly. I do my best to learn swear words in all languages. The same word in arabic is shu shu (sp?).
You were right to report him. The worst part is that he was trying to sell them. Pitiful, but definitely punishable.
Umm he basically called you an sob several times... and pathetic. So what I got from reading all of this is, that he was willing to take credit "until" someone called him on it, probably thinking no one would ever call him on it. And when it finally happened, he back peddled and is only apologetic because the "bad" attention had people insulting him for his actions... but wait, he wants it to be okay between you, just as long as YOU remove your journal.
I don't think he's got that much of a language problem. I think he's 3 yrs old and is just now realizing he's about to get spanked hard!
heh when it comes to jugger expect the spanking to be hard!
With an axe at that!
lol
You know, some people pay for that.
man i am sure he was almost crying ....
I took four years of Spanish classes, but some of the words here are beyond the scope of my education. Of course, if I'm not mistaken, "Perdedor de mierda" roughly translates to "loser of (feces)"
It's been a long time since I had Spanish classes though. And DX? He probably WAS crying
EDIT: "espero k seas feliz destruyendo a la gente" roughly, if memory serves, means "I hope you're happy that you've destroyed a person"
... I think.
I'd never use a nuke in a superhero universe. You nuke a city, you kill 1.5 million people minus one. The last guy not only gets superpowers from the explosion, but ones that let him survive a nuke...and wow, is he torqued off

My Spanish is incredibly rusty, but I think you're right there Kadmon, or at least close enough.

Hooray, backup
Also, I ran "perdedor de mierda" through Dictionary.com's translator. It came out "excrement loser," which almost makes LESS sense than "loser of feces." I'll chalk it up to a difference in cultures.

Hmm... I could go 2 ways with a reply...
1) Be consoling, point out to Juggy that he's proven dozens (and grosses) of times over by now that he's a kind and generous guy, that the credit he was asking for was quite reasonable and well earned, and that it's even a little flattering that people like his art so much that they want to emulate him that desparately.
2) Be inflammatory, provoke Juggy to maintain this new angry energy in the hopes that it opens up a yet-untapped creative flow for his talents. This could be a spark to a great 'red period' of Juggertha art. That would potentially be a very interesting direction to watch unfold.
Hmm.... I'm not quite sure which way to go on this... I'll have to think some more about it.
I guess it would make sense if you were talking about someone who took their dog for a walk in a park, scooped up any doggie droppings left by said doggie in a bag, and then got chased around by a bunch of unsavory types. And then, during the process of being chased managed to misplace, drop, or otherwise fail to maintain possession of the aforementioned bag.
Just a thought...

The sad thing is - that now, how can we trust that ANY of his work is genuine? Not a good road...
I was actually thinking that as I was looking through his other pieces. Who knows how many are his and how many are stolen? Too bad there isn't an image search engine where you could submit one image and the thing would find other similar images on the net.
Sadly, there are people commenting on his style and they probably have no idea about what happened.

It's sad that their are people out there that don't know common since. Course it's also sad that their are people out there that steal other peoples works of art.

In my view, this whole episode is just sad.
I made my feelings known to the little *censored*
PA-THE-TIC!
Man, I hate it when someone does something wrong and they know it then when they get caught they act like they didnt do anything wrong or give the excuse that it was just a mistake.
Every site has a bad element...
and it seems I have found it.
