The Turkey Has Landed

Well, people around these parts have been telling me I should start posting in this here artsy-fartsy type forum and maybe get more feedback on my work. However, I've come to a wall with my usual Turkey Scratches, and haven't had any ideas formulating for anything else. So, I'm at a loss as to what to post....

That being the case, I'm jumping in with both feet and at least one knee and possibly some fingers and asking you folks to get me inspired. I will make with the drawings and possibly the colorings for the next 5 people that present me with some decent screenshots of their character, the character's name, their AT and powersets, and maybe a little bit about their personality and background. I dunno...whatever real artists ask for in these situations. One character per person please.

ALSO:

Those that seek to enter must answer me these questions three, else they'll not get any art for free:
1. WHAT is your name?
2. WHAT is your quest?
3. WHAT is your favorite Jethro Tull song?

The finished drawings will be posted on my deviant art page sometime within the next two weeks (see below) and linked in this thread.

Please note: This may be a one time deal. Because my muse is very tempermental, and, like a Karma Chameleon, comes and goes (and with it, my ability to draw), I'm not really that reliable for getting stuff done in a timely manner. This is one of the main reasons I don't do commissions or requests. I also prefer doing the surprise arts. So please don't flood me with requests. We'll see how these goes, and maybe down the line I'll do another offer like this. Also, if your answer to question three is "Who's Jethro Tull?" you will be disqualified from entry because I'm a jerk like that. Supplies are limited. Offer valid in 49 states, SORRY TENNESSEE!

Invincibelle is always available. She flies and has superstrength and invulnerability, but she is far more durable than her costume is. Her mutant powers were triggered when the Rikti destroyed the Red Line, she was the only survivor.

My name is Jeff
My quest is for nookie
My favorite Jethro Tull song is as yet undetermined

The Story Of The Hare Who Lost His Spectacles

Bill

Another Bill

And one more

Oh... background and personality. Hmm. Well, Bill is Beelzebub, lord of the 8th plane of hell. He got bored. Built himself a body using the magics of hell on the mortal plane in Paragon City and has been filling the ranks of Hell's Army with the souls of the villains he slaughters daily. Yea... they only live if the teleporter gets them before they go braindead from loss of blood.

He likes a good drink, a good cigar and a good fight. His talons are about 3 inches long on each finger. (No wolvie claws.) His reflexes are supreme.

Be well, people of CoH.

I would be honored if you took a shot a Kilotonnage the Iron-jawed Troll. Stone Armor/Super Strength Tanker. (Or Stone Melee/Stone Armor Brute: see signature)

Kilotonnage was once a Paragon City Troll, one of their junior members, an Ogre to be exact. He recieved his rather unorthodox name from his Troll brethren for two reasons, one was they joked that he must have taken a Kilo of Superadine to get so strong so fast. And two, the fact that his fists hit with the kilotonnage of a small nuke. They were right about his taking an overdose of Superadine. It happened when he was a new member attempting to gain acceptance into the tribe. He underwent the “Test of Tolerance” where he was given an enormous dose of Superadine, and had to simply remain conscious. It didn't matter to the Trolls if he acted improperly or lost his sense of judgment – in fact, such wild activity was encouraged – as long as he remained awake. It was his drug induced madness that made him think he could take on Atta, leader of the Trolls for his rank. The fight was brutal but over quickly and Kilotonnage was easily defeated. Atta being in a rare merciful mood, tore off Kilo's lower jaw and left him for dead in the Hollows. When the Paragon City Police found Kilo he was near death. They rushed him to the hospital where he was fitted with a prosthetic jaw. When he was well enough he escaped from the recovery ward. Kilo returned to Skyway City where he tried to return to the Trolls. They laughed at him covering his head in the Troll "Hood of Shame" and called him "Junkjaw". They cast him out of the gang. Kilotonnage, having no where else to go, wandered the streets of Paragon City till he ended up in Atlas Park. One day by accident he stumbled into a robbery scene, a band of Skulls were robbing a young woman. The Skulls mistaking Kilo for a Hero attacked him. He made short work of the five gang members and then something startling happened. The woman came up and hugged him, praising him for saving her and handed him some influence! She actually thought he fought those Skulls to save her. It felt kind of nice and he felt accepted, something he no longer felt with the Trolls. He changed that day but not his goals. He still wants to gain experience and strength, this time however he wants to do it fighting against the Trolls instead of with them. When the time is right and he is strong enough he plans on going back to get revenge on Atta and the Trolls who cast him out.

Tax E Girl - Empathy/Psychic Blast

Bio: Sweet, innocent and naive Kat O'Shea lived in The Hollows most of her life. Watching the Outcasts battling the Trolls in the streets she learned to survive after the death of her family. One day Kat heard the cries of a young girl. She went outside to see her trapped in the middle of yet another street fight. From deep inside her, she willed the girl to come to her side, but it was too late. The girl died in her arms but not before the girl muttered, "...save my family!" With her mind Kat found the little girls family being attacked by some Circle of Thorns. Kat had to decide whether to blast the Circle of Thorns or will the girls family to her side. She did both. Mustering all her strength, she healed the nearly fallen family members and dominated the Circle of Thorns. She brought the girl's family to safety and vowed she would not let another citizen be harmed. She would bring those back from the brink of death, she would recall those in need and aid her fellow heroes in blasting the enemies out of Paragon City.

Assessement: There is no doubt that Tax E Girl has "suffered for her cause". Many of the influential scientists of Paragon City would probably concur that the development of a hero such as her in a location as violent as The Hollows was inevitable. It is unfortunate that such an asset to our survival must be born from such tragedy. The only fear I, her counselor, would have is instability following continued emotional strain, but this is only a minor concern. I have no doubt that she will be a huge benefit as long as she continues to pursue a life in crime fighting. Recommend random (biannual) evaluations to establish continued emotional healing. Otherwise this hero should not be hindered in her desire to help civilians and other heroes in Paragon City.

Too much info? hehehe
