Preliminary sketches for your prizes are turning out a bit...silly. (I know, big surprise coming from me, right?)
Not full blown, Saturday Morning Cartoon silly, more of a "I am serious, and don't call me Shirley." kind of silly.

As you can see, Sunday came and went with no art. That's because I had received word I didn't get a job promotion I was really counting on, and have been in kind of a funk the last several days. The Art, she will not come to me in this disposition. So I beg your patience, I will get these pics complete once life stops hating me. Hopefully, that's sooner rather than later.

One minor nitpick though. Heri doesn't have pupils, her eyes are those straight glowy eyes that are just one color.

Huh, that's weird that you say it looks like she has pupils, because I didn't intend to give her any. It's kind of hard to do green glowy eyes in a black and white piece, so I just shaded them in as opposed to just leaving them blank white. Guess I got to work on my shading techniques. lol

hmm good point. woulda looked strange for it to be just the outline of the eyes with it just white inside. Very cool man I've got a penciled and inked non colored piece coming up in a few weeks, I'll see how he deals with her eyes.

Yeah, I took a close look at my paper copy and I'll blame my shading technique and the over-long eyelashes I gave her. Makes the eye look rounded and like a pupil. The scan and the size of the digital pic emphasizes that.

Brief bug in the costume creator. Can't replicate it anymore and if Turkey Lass returns to the tailor, her skirt will mysteriously return to proper orientation.
