Hey! Just saw this thread, and have to admit that I've done this too. Maybe a year or so ago, a friend was looking at my character list, and noted that I had a character for every letter with the exceptions of J, U, and X. It became my mission to fill those gaps, which I did within a couple months of that.

High Moon wasn't taken? Inconceivable! Did you name it after the comic or did you independently arrive there? Frankenmime is the scariest monster, ever. You'd never hear him coming. Altitude, another great name. And Haleakala... man, I love Maui. I kid you not, on my desktop I have a weather widget that tells me info about where I live in New Hampshire and Kahului.

I honestly didn't know there was a High Moon comic out there - I thought I was being clever. Originally just wanted to create a normal cowboy character named High Noon, but that was taken, and finally came back around to High Moon and made him a werewolf. Maui is the best...I try to get there every year for my birthday. Makes a cool looking character with all the earth powers set to look like lava rock.

I had been quite steady in the 150-ish range, but decided to get the last couple just to round out the desktop image (without fillers).

I'll admit the majority are not terribly high in level (average is about 18th), with only three 50's and twenty three above 25th level. And I don't have bio's for everyone, but mostly just because I haven't actually typed them out yet.

To be honest for an alt crazy guy I looked at most of the toons, the names aren't that cool nor are the costumes that go with them. Not trying to hate the alt idea is cool but spend more time w/ names and costumes.

Here's one I made this afternoon: Robotomic. As the bio says, it's an homage to Atomic Robo, the best comic currently running.



My favorite new character is Quick Red Fox. Characters whose names start with Q are hard to come by, but I wasn't even thinking that when I made her. I just liked the name of all ones available.





I've made many others, of course, but these are the new toys.

My VG Vermin -- Slaughtermouse, Monkeywench, Battlesnake and Varmint -- needed a heavy hitter, so I dusted this bad boy off. Crocogator is character I created way back in the mid-80s and the name has always amused me.

The clumsy grammar is intentional, as if a 12-year-old wrote it. I lost the "kid's voice" framing device but left what "he" wrote, which makes it seem like I don't know muchly how to talk good.
