There is also a temporary rez power you can buy and craft off the market easily enough.

I honestly didn't know there was a High Moon comic out there - I thought I was being clever. Originally just wanted to create a normal cowboy character named High Noon, but that was taken, and finally came back around to High Moon and made him a werewolf. Maui is the best...I try to get there every year for my birthday. Makes a cool looking character with all the earth powers set to look like lava rock.
-
Back after a long break, and naturally I had to create some new characters...
Frankenmime: Fire/Kin Controller ("Fire bad!")
Altitude: Grav/Ice Dominator
Haleakala: Earth/Fire Dominator
High Moon: DP/Dark Corrupter
-
I've deleted a few characters recently, so these should all be available now:
Atom Boy
Sir Steel
Ecosystem
Woodshed -
I would like to do this with Noir Shadow(Ill/Kin), but not sure I can make a noon start time. I'll try my best, though.

Recall Friend works great for stealthing missions in TFs.
-
How about a plant/sonic controller named "Bloom Box" or "Shrub Woofer".
-
Oooh, I really like the sand idea and look. Hadn't thought of that before. I'm going to create an Egyptian character tonight using that, I think.

Don't just limit yourself to recipes. Another neat little trick I use to get some quick cash is to run to the market in Steel Canyon.
Search for SO enhancements, and filter the results to lvl 48-53, For Sale Only. Run through and check the bids that have items for sale, but no bids, and bid anywhere from 100 to 1000 inf. You can usually fill up your enhancement tray 3 or 4 times at that price.
If you stick to just Mutant and Natural enhancements - those stores are in close walking distance to the market. You should have no problem running back and forth, even at level one...and you can unload all your recipes at those stores at the same time. -
Locking up IE for me as well...

Here is Necrophobia
He is an empathy zombie. He's too stubborn to admit that he's actually dead, so he constantly heals himself to try to prove that he's "getting better". He even managed to fashion a pair of pants out of his own body bag. -
I try to dabble a bit with 3D renderings, although I'm still really struggling with full characters. Wouldn't mind trying my hand at a few props and weapons and stuff like that though. I use Lightwave - what would be the best format to save as for sharing? Lightwave saves objects as LWO - but I can export to 3DS, DXF, or OBJ. No idea what Poser can use.
...just in case I actually make something useful... -
Thanks! I had a lot of fun this weekend. Now I can't figure out which one I want to play the most.
Although, I did kind of start to run out of creativity a bit at the end and started to stretch...Not sure how long "Zebroid" is going to last...lol -
This sounded like a fun idea to me. I don't have nearly as many characters yet - but I did manage to fill out the entire alphabet.

None of my characters really fit any of the new costume drops...wings just really wouldn't make sense for any of my guys. I got a piston boots drop the other day, and really wanted to use it, so I created a new guy:
Supercapacitor
He's an energy blaster. When I created him from scratch, I had the monstrous robotic claws for his feet...I honestly think I might like that look better than the piston boots...but at least I can actually use one of the drops now. I'll have to get him some rocket boots to play with next.

Well, go figure...my first mission today and I got the rocket boots.
Here are the three variations on his boots:
Supercapacitor Boots
I still think I might like the first, claw version better - but I'll stick with the rocket boots for a while...
Maybe I need to try my luck again. Ahem...I'll have to get him some TECH WINGS to play with next. -

I logged in a level 14 character last night and went to Perez Park. Spent about an hour killing Hellions that were conning gray, green and blue to me. Was getting XP for all of them, but not a single recipe drop after an hour of killing. A few training enhancements and some salvage, but that was it.
Moved on in a little further and found some level 13 hydra that were conning white, yellow and orange to me. Started killing off some of the smaller groups of white. Second group, I got a piston boots drop.
Spent about an hour after that killing more hydra. The piston boots was the only costume drop I got, but I was getting an invention recipe for just about every mob I killed.
Seemed like the higher level mobs dropped recipes more often...at least they did for me last night. -
Made a little avatar for my Noir Shadow character. He is an Illusion-Kinetics Controller - my take on a kind of Invisible Man/The Shadow type character.

Nice! Thanks for the guide.
I'm still fairly new to the game, but I'm working on a Robotics/Traps Mastermind. Only got him up to level 7 so far. I had some idea of the powers I wanted, but I think you may have talked me out of some and into some others. I was also a little lost on how to slot some of these powers, so this helped a lot.
The character I'm working on is Professor Ferrous
I'll be naming all of my bots Ore, Iron, Steel, Titanium, etc. I think I'm going to take the entire traps line now...I was torn on a few, but you make them all sound like too much fun to pass up. You talked me out of the Pulse Rifle powers, although I already have the Pulse Rifle Burst, but I don't mind keeping one attack for myself.
I like the idea of Super Speed and Concealment, but I think I might take Grant Invisibility/Invisibility instead of just Stealth. Also, I'm probably going to take Combat Jumping/Super Jump instead of the Teleport skills. With the legs I have on my character, it just looks like he should have Super Jump and Super Speed. That will leave me with two boxes left for Aid Other and Aid Self.
Probably a little bit of overkill with the two travel powers, but it sounds like fun to me.
