I have to say... dont waste your time with piston boots... I got them for my defender last night, and they have no animation.. they just add a pistony-smoke-discharge-aura whenever you jump.
That's a bit of a shame but you need to realize that the Rocket Boots do the same thing. All they do is emit an aura effect.
Now we would all LOVE if our Piston Boots would contract and retract when we jump but there is only so much they can do with costume pieces.

haha! Those pics are messed with in photoshop, so it got a little jaggedy! I should go in and blur the edges a bit, but that was just a quick and dirty comp, I"ll put something nicer up after I finish the commish I'm working on.
I shall post my character with his tech wings...just a soon as I find someone trustworthy to transfer the recipe and salvage from the character who actually has it.

I must admit, that has to be one of the best "Power-suit/robot" costumes i've ever seen. I love the dark blue. Plus, the fact that it makes the W-Shield actually look good makes it just that much more impressive, if you ask me.
Can't wait to get those boots myself. The only costume recipe i've managed to get so far is the Piston Boots.

Outstanding, those boots look great with that costume.
I am so happy to see that great recipe's are dropping while in other people's missions. I didn't get any in that mission, which was one of my scanner ones.
Anyone think it would be nice to see what everyone does with their invented wings or boots ?
