Alrighty, its a pretty quick job, and I had to go over your original sketch with pen (realized it was dark blue halfway thru ) to darken it up a bit, and I kind of like the finished project. Isn't (s)he pretty?

I think that might be a veil (I'm hoping!) Peregrine heh, not a beard (at least a veil was my first thought)
Maybe its mistress vine or dark lilac? (gah I am totaly spacing on who wears veils and I don't thave the time to browse everyone's reference shots again!)

Truthfully I hadn't planned on being all that mysterious about this, it's just I hadn't figured out how I want the head to look yet. I've made about 5 heads already, and still yet to be happy with one. I figured if I post what I got so far, I may get out of my block. Oh, I have a pretty cool background in mind for this as well.
