Jay's Costume Bug Fix Thread
Hi Jay, you're sexy but my character isn't anymore. I just spent 70k infamy trying to figure this problem out before I found this thread. I am attaching the picture after visiting a Tailor of what my costume was supposed to look like, and what it ended up looking like. As you can see the chest doesn't recognize the white colour in the angelic pattern while the white spikes on my boots and gloves are actually black. I will spend more infamy trying to create something that looks half decent untill this may be addresssed. If it is, please pm me here on forum if anything so I can go back and change it to this fine costume I designed. Thank you very much. Here is the link:

(psst...are you in a villain group with black as it's secondary colour? If so, click on the "Super Group" text on your chat box, followed by the "Settings" button. Hit Accept once, and move all the colours to the far left option. That should fix it.)
gah, thank you
Okay, this thread is absolutely huge, and I am sure it has probably been mentioned before -
Wings do not show up in the SG 'coloring' window. Hence, I cannot revert the wings to their proper color while in SG mode. They color as the cape on a prior costume (a combination that looks bad with the wings). I can change the cape colors but the TRIM colors are black in the original cape, and unfortunately this is the color that keeps getting applied to the wings.
If this has been mentioned before, then please just put this down as my tiny vote towards asking for a fix, please?
Tech Crey on an Armored top (male) leaves the shoulder joints uncolourable and looking ugly.

Also probably mentioned somewhere in these 78 pages...
I was redesigning the look of a female character and tried out the trench coat on her... when I added an emblem with the "over" option and turned to look at her from the side, the emblem looked like it was hovering over the coat instead of directly on it. I'll admit that on this particular character the "chest" slider was maxed.
I've noticed that on characters with huge base builds, from a distance and usually from the side, they're shoulders get huge and pointy, luckily I have a couple screenshots.

Sorry for the horrible shot, the glitch should be on the guy in the upper left part of the shot.
I know this was mentioned a page or two ago, but I just wanted to add another reminder/request about changing Wing colors in SG color window. I know the option existed once, please return the wing/back detail color option.
Remember kids, reading is fundamental. Especially on the forums.
Jay: Was surprised to see no Peg Leg or Hook Hand options for the female body type. What gives?
Here's one:

I must really apologize, but I cannot bring myself to read through 79pages worth of post (that would just reek of effort ;P) but I was wondering if there would be anything in the future to perhaps fix the bottoms section of the toons to accommodate the curved belts? (fanged skull, fanged skull metallic, headhunter etc). The bottoms that work well with these are Bikini 1, Bikini 3, Disco, Excess and a few others. Just wondering if to make it easier, would it be possible to have a double set of other bottoms that would have this lower swooping front? It would work especially well for some of our toons that use the tops with skin sets.
sinister top with sleeveless trech = invisible arms
Just wanted to point out that all the "Lightning" patterns(chest, bottom, gloves, and boots), do not match together seemlessy when used together on Male and Huge body models. Seems to be okay on the Female body.
What I mean is, the lightning bolt designs don't line up perfectly with each other at the "seams" where gloves and sleeves meet, where the chest and bottoms meet, and where the bottoms and boots meet. It looks tacky and makes using them all together unviable.
3 out of 4 of the new flight poses clip badly with the gladiator shoulders. Would it be possible to make flypose 2 a mirror image of it's current for so that the more lightly armored arm is the one thrust forwards? Thanks!
Hey, Jay!
I've noticed on several of my toons that wear suits when pants are selected the back of their shoes pierce through the back of the cuff. I notice this because I seem to be fixed upon the bug as my toons run around various places in Paragon!
Hey, Jay,
Me again! Would it be possible to provide collar options in the head menu? It would be really neat to have an oversized winged collar on characters that are magical or who simply want to look way over the top. Just a thought.
Howdie Jay,
A couple of issues I have. If you look at this picture, you see the odd neck alignment that is prevalent in the entire "Full Helmet" set. You can only see it when your running or in a combat stance, but it is really distracting. Also in the "Tech Sleek" set, also in the picture, it would be nice if the mesh could be set a different color than the plate. The neck issue has been around for quite some time (Beta I think) I was hoping that the tech has advanced enough to address this in some way.

1) We've been petitioning that for waaaaaaay over a year now. Probably close to two. (Might be fixed in another year, like spiky hair and buzz cuts.)
2) No offense, but it's a bad picture, being night and a dark costume and far away. I know the issue and can't see it there...
3) Hi, Opal
4) Here's a clearer picture of the issue: http://sdmb.culex.us/pics/albums/userpics/0fatneck.jpg (it is more of a chin than a neck issue)
5) Oh god please fix it, my Plagatus is not an anole who inflates his neck pouch to ward off rivals and attract mates

Thanks Culex, I realized it was a bad pic after posting. Your pic definitely illustrates the problem.

it's worse for huge builds...I forget the exact name...but the neck muscles stretch pretty bad when you run.

Working as intended.
It used to be fine, then got bugged, then fixed and now it's bugged again. There are several patches of skin showing up through the female baseball cap. This used to be fixable through the Cranium vertical slider, but that is no longer the case. The skin patches just travel up and down with the cap. Even I don't wear my cap that tightly.
Can we get this looked into? It's no longer semi-fixable and it's pretty apparent. Think of how much time we spend staring at the back of our character's head.
Samuel_Tow is the only poster that makes me want to punch him in the head more often when I'm agreeing with him than when I'm disagreeing with him.

Just a +1 to this since I was about to post the same thing. It's really annoying on my Tech Sleek helmet. It's my first character with a full helmet so I never noticed it before but it's pretty icky looking.

Still.....primary/secondary colors do not hold the same throughout many top/bottom selections, like Baroque, mesh, etc. Someone needs to pick black primary/white secondary (or something like that) and arrow through the selections - the messed up ones will be obvious, and there are several.
Also, in SG settings mode, on several characters, no 'wings' or back option appears, so the colors set themselves.
Wrapped stiletto boots is still missing.
Also, lemme toss in another plug for some way to make the costume color settings in/out of SG mode separate for each costume slot.
