New Sketchdump! Guess the old one got deleted :/

I like how sketchy the dryad looks. Very simple and yet, so fluid. Nicely done!

So for character design class, I chose a very talented artist, Claire Wendling, to reference for Jack and the Beanstalk. Here are a few of the finished pieces from that class :3 I had the giant on before, but now he's colored! Woo!

Makes two of us >_> But the sentiment alone's appreciated. About a year ago I nearly gave up art after I was let go on a project due to some circumstances out of both my boss and my control. It's nice to be back in the creative seat again so to speak.

Oh well, if I ever come on some cash I can spend on other things besides what I've currenlty pigeonholed down as 'necessary expenditures', I'll be sure to get some art from a bunch of you.

Jus' gotta chime in here, I love the style you do the bulk of your drawings in... especaily the Ginat. I love the sketchy lines and lose look that it has while, at the same time, maintianing a very solid and almost tangible feel to it, like you can reach in to the work and pick him up. It's great. You work is just strait up fun to look at

i miss Beliel, hems had him diving for empty bottles in the lake in Gemini, they were on a mission to stop pollution together

Danke! The whole Jack and the Beanstalk project really helped push me to be a non-lazy artist. Im hoping the non-slacker vibes will continue to rub off on me during the summer

In the making... so while DJ has his awesome Poser explanation... I thought I'd just post one of my commission pieces through its paces.

Hemily's piece is only into the rough pencils but here's the first two bits... final pencils to follow shortly

The problem with Rowr and Hemily together as a commission is finding each distinct personality and making sure they were true to themselves. Stiiiill working on Rowr. Fallen Skye and TA are next in the list...

Saw your Hemily sketch in the Virtue forums, and had to do a search to see if I could find more of your stuff. Excellent work. I love the animated/cartoony feel of the sketches. Gives great character to the...er...characters. =) I'm looking forward to seeing more of your work.
