I spent hours just gazing at Sayterra's stuff on Deviant, all glassy eyed.

I have in the past. Oddly enough I've known your work since the Elfquest days 
Wendy was an old mentor of mine when I was a teenager.
I actually went back to school in 2004, and am working towards my Bachelors. But I've done character design for oddly: comics, preproduction/concept art for film pitches, and feature film. I've worked in comics since 2002. I just figured I needed better discipline to be a better artist...
So that was a longwinded explanation there...but anyways :3

Suppa nice! I can't wait to see how this one turns out. Question, why th' red pencil? Just what was handy... or do ya have something... *narrows eyes as shadows descend across his face and an ominous music slowly swells up in thew gloom* in mind? *those last two words are all like echoing in some kinda supper cool ominous and dramatic way... that's not cheesy or stupid at all, it's cool, I swear! Bah, you don't know what cool is...*
I think the red lines may be the evil twin of blue lines. You see, in order for there to be a cosmic balance, every time a comic book penciller uses blue lines, an artist must use red to keep the delicate balance or else a paradox will occur sucking the universe into nothingness. You see, Sayterra just saved the universe from Rob Liefeld yet again.
I'd like to get some O'them pencils. Are they special?
Also, while I'm here. PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do an art trade with me!!! It's okay if you don't, your stuff totally blows mine out of the water, but I will be forced to commision you, and It won't be pretty. Be Warned !!!

I stabbed my arm and the graphite was red after that!

I uh... picked up my pencil, and lo, the lead was carmine red ColErase. It's pretty and red. I like red *twitch*
In all seriousness, ColErase owns my soul on three levels: Carmine Red, Tuscan Red, and Blue. I use these three for animation, character design, layout, etc. It's something about the lead itself. :3

No hun I didn't I actually have a few compositional sketches, but I need to modify them slightly before showing you I'm going in sequence of who paid when, so Rowr's is on my desk in the painting stage (watercolor takes longer than digital obviously) and Hyper's will be up tonight or tomorrow... Besides I'm getting to know your characters a bit by drawing them in lil bitty thumbnails XD
