But given what I know about the engine of the game the ball would be
Mob type:EB/AV/GM/Monster?
Resistence:99%
Massive -Knockback, such that the way it's coded any power causes a knockback,knockdown,knockup effect unto it. However to save massive coding headaches I don't think the devs will be able to make it bounce off of buildings, or even the ground itself, but mobs would be able to affect it.
Another issue would be if it generates aggro or not.
Hp:~500-50,000
Regen rate:8000%--prevent poping.
Why99%? So that it does actually take damage and so an attack can affect it, if it had 100% I don't think a power would be able to do anything at all to it, or am I just incorrect on my guesses on the mechanics?
Furthermore, to solve the issue of players whose powersets do not actually do any KB, the addition of a min mag of knockback to the orgin minor powers, some of them dont make sense themactically but it's a easier solution then an entire revamp of all powers.

What if it was a ball that never stopped moving. A Big Red Pinball, if you will, acting more like the cars and pedestrians in normal zones. Except, instead of moving slightly to the side as it approached, it would bounce back.
Also, I want to car surf. Why must they move out from under me. Oh and Blimp surfing. I don't even have room to write how awesome that would be.

I also [censored] my vote to the big red ball request.
However, i think it should be a Giant Monster spawn, fairly rare, that doesn't do any damage but just bounces around the zone ragdoll style till it takes a certain amount of damage, then it explodes. And anybody still in the zone when it does is one-shotted. And all the mobs too.
..lol ok, maybe not that last bit.

Speaking of cars where do the cars get there fuel? Is it simply magic, solor powered or foot driven? What about children besides that one mutant contact in Founder's Fall. And whats with an overcrowded city?

A friend and I were actually doing this in Nerva with pieces from a Longbow Chaser I destroyed. We batted it around the streets for a good 20 minutes, using 2 bridge entrances as the soccer goals.

I havent checked in recently, and i apologize to all my big red ballers out there.
BUT...Is it possible to just make a BRB a temp power... then the power can be made like a pet that accepts knockback. I like all the BRB ideas but i just want to make sure i have my OWN BRB so that some jerk doesnt come up and nova my ball into the water in talos, for me to chase it. It will be the new griefing...lookie lookie my brb is FUN woohoo, lvl 50 blaster sends my lvl 7 brb 3 miles out into the hollows. Boohoo! nah but seriously, it seems like a temp power BRB might be the easiest way, then everyone has one and they can do whatever they want with it. PS. anyone see wall ball tournaments, rules are that all travel powers must be off. "C'mon Strike Hawk! You can't teleport to the wall every time it touches you!"
