Its not illogical at all. I don't see how this could be included into the game without breaking the game immersion. And that's even before we start talking about lag.
Mini-games? Fine. Basket ball in one of the many basket ball courts? Fine. Bowling at the Bowling Centre? I'd probably be there. Masses of super heroes chasing round the city after a big red ball? No thanks. I'd rather we stick to the genre.

I too would play with the Big Red Ball. The Big Red Ball is a good idea. In my opinion, the Big Red Ball should be world wide. If there were a Big Red Ball on every street corner just sitting there, the world would be a better place. No longer would people pettle illegal narcotics out of their coat pockets, they would all play with Big Red Ball. Big Red Ball is good. Yay for Big Red Ball. Big Red Ball will save us all.

are you trying to say that if a super hero was walking down the street and saw a big red ball on the street that he wouldn't go play with it because it would be too silly for him to do so? I have to disagree. Most superheroes are humans at their core. Humans enjoy simple pleasures and it doesn't get much simpler than a big red ball. I don't think breaks emersion any more than costume contests or "come find me somewhere in AP" contests. There are enough emersion breakers in the game to make a big red ball nothing more than white noise on the "thats not realistic" meter. Get over it and support the BRB!

Come on, immersion-breaking? If you see it and don't want to play with it just walk on by. Or would the sight of so many others having fun and you not be troubling anyway, and you'd be too distracted to continue with pulling the wings off flies or something?
Speaking of so many others, isn't the fact that the city's heroes/villains come close to outnumbering the citizens immersion-breaking anyway? I mean how many comics do you read where there are hundreds of other supers zipping around in the background doing their own thing anyway?
Lag? If there's a technical issue with making this happen, that's up for Cryptic to figure out. Not saying it's not a possibility, but the chance this might be harder to implement than I thought at first read doesn't make it a bad idea at all... just needs to be investigated.

In this nerfed for the PvP minority,enhancement diversifying,toggle dropping mezfest this game has become,something fun would be a very welcome addition.
