My favorite PVP moment, whats yours?
I was earning some Warburg nukes for hamidon raids and someone decided they wanted to try to steal my scientist. Not sure exactly what he was but it was probably a blaster or a corruptor, since he was firing from range but not mezzing me. Well, being a rad/rad defender, i just kept dropping rad infection on him every time he got near, and healing anything he managed to land and just calmy sprinted along and ignored him.
After he chased me for my last two scientists in a row he finally said "Allright truce!" in broadcast, to which i replied "Truce? I've just been ignoring you, and besides i have all the codes i need anyway." Well i realized this was a mistake as soon as i said it, and figured he'd be camping the outdoor glowy you have to reach in 5 minutes trying to prevent me from getting my missile. Sure enough, as i reach it, i notice him on the rooftop nearby the glowy i need, so i just superjump straight over to him, power build up, cosmic burst to stun him, and jump off the building and activate the missile while he's stunned.
the cry of "No fair!" over broadcast was just icing on the cake

Beautiful. Absolutely beautiful.
This was greifing for sure, but i did it knowing i could never do it again because they were gonna place an extra drone in front of the Siren's Villain Hospital.
As a tank, I can freely go into the villain hospital and check who's there and maybe punch a few guys, but this time i saw a an MM afk in the res Pad and something evil got into me. I just wanted to kill him because he thinks he's sooo safe in there.
So i tryied rushing him but the drones got me. Then i thought i need a ranged power so i went and bought that electric glove temp power and went to buy 1 insight and 19 red insps. TPed back in there to a safe location, messeged him saying "Time to die buddy", Hit BU and all my insps, and two shotted him Muhahahaha. Later i told him im a tank and he was dumbfounded.
When my stalker was in Siren's Call, trying to hunt Warrior bosses for the badge, and an Ice blaster came up behind me, hit me once, then flew away. Why is this a favorite moment? Because he he didn't take advantage and kill my toon, and had the decency to send me a tell, apologizing for interrupting my PvE. That's courtesy, something sorely lacking in PvP (in every game, in my experience).

lol nice. ive got a few pvp moments too.
1) was going one on one with a brute in warburg when this random mm jumps between us and tries to summon his zombies. This pisses us both off so we both use our strongest attack effectively ghenking him then going back to what we were doing. Well later this mm comes back for round 2 but this time attempting to set a trap. It pretty much ended the same way.
2) Again in warburg some random controller tries to hold my srapper. Needless to say it doesnt work so well and i end up two-shotting him. Well he comes back again and again until i get annoyed and ask him to stop. Anyway he calls me a noob and starts ranting how controllers can never beat a scrapper with a few f-bombs here and there and then logs out. Well while hes logging out some stalker fells the urge to AS the guy. He stops logging out puts to the stalker to sleep and then i finish the job. Lol one more intresting fact a week later i got into a team with the controller, he saw my name and just quit.
This BS/regen started talking in broadcast about who's next to get 'owned'. I respond, 'You'. After useless words, I find out his location (villain hosp), go there, and after about 15 minutes and 4 Kuji-In Retsu uses, I drop him. He always seemed to have a trick to pull when I Placate/AS'd. What a fight. Scrapping a BS scrapper on a Ninja/Ninjitsu stalker.
Doom.
Yep.
This is really doom.
My favorite PvP moment occurred in Siren's Call. I am there with my lvl 33 spines/sr. I was just standing in the middle of the road waiting for a stalker to try and AS me. I see one cautiously positioning himself behind me, then I see him charge. I simply hit lung, build-up, ripper, and then finish him with impale. Then I laughed, as I know he had no clue that I could see him clearly.
Even a casual player can have a moment. I don't generaly pvp but my brother mentioned how much fun he had with his scrapper. I don't have anyone though and capable of fighting but I did have my blaster. I went into the zone... got dropped by stalkers and brutes. I got tired of it but the fights were cool so I figured I would watch the other heros and villians fight it out. Now here is the thing that amused me. I knew someone would see me, and thus come after me.
So I picked a decent out of the way spot to watch and started setting mines. I had 8 mines set when I got assassin struck and in that same instants. Stalker got nuked by the mines. I moved to a diffrent spot and started setting mines while watchign the fights. Sure enough, I get struck again but once more the mines were the payment for that. Now the two stalkers got a laugh out of it but the one thing that surprised me more then anything that I had to leave or die laughing.
I have two recharges in my trip mines so i can set 16 with a few seconds before the first explodes. Apparently the Stalkers didn't want to hit me any more. So I had my limit of mines and a constant explosion around me every few seconds. I figured that would be a sure fire sign of mines or danger or something. Apparently this wasn't the case for the brute as he jumped right into the mines setting all 16 off at once. My jaw droped, I could not beleive he just did that. The comment he made afterwards gave me the feeling that what just happend kind of ticked him off. One word..
"Cute..."
Seriously.... You see a consistant ring of fire come up from a none moving blaster.... Does that really = safe to attack melee?
DEFINATLEY that time I pwned that stalker, over and over and over again. He did not realize the full capacity of blaze and firesword under defiance. silly stalker...

Me, in warburg, setting up a few traps with my mastermind. Suddenly a corruptor jumps down from the globe to land in front of me, triggering buildup as he falls. (Presumably because he was about to use his level 32 nova-like power on me.) Sadly he jumped down onto the patch of mines I was setting up.
The resulting explosion didn't kill him. He had about 10% hp left still. However the explosion DID knock him down... and onto a bigger patch of mines I'd set up previously. Which did, in fact, kill him.
Poetry in motion. And I never even fired a shot. Made my day.

I actually have one, even though I don't PvP much. It's not Stalker related, but this seems to have become a general PvP story thread so...
I'm in Warburg with my Ice/Fire Blaster, shortly after Warburg debuted. This nuclear warhead thing sounded interesting, so I was hoping to get in there and shoot off a rocket or two before the villains reached level 30. See, silly naive me thought that there'd be some sort of solidarity among heroes out there.
To sum up the story, I've brought a scientist to the surface, and am taking him back to his bunker when a Fire/Energy Tanker attaches himself to me. Despite frequent interference from another Tanker and Controller duo, he absolutely does not leave me alone. I make it pretty clear that I don't want to fight by avoiding him, but he just keeps coming back and uselessly attacking me.
Bear in mind, he's not really doing much to me. He bounds by and nails me with Stun to slow me down for a moment, followed by some other attacks that knock off half my HP, which I then restore with Aid Self. Lather, rinse, repeat. He is making no progress, but he won't go away. I ditch him, but then he shows up again halfway to the second bunker. He can't hurt me, but he's terribly persistent.
The third scientist, and no sign of him. I get my launch code, flag the waypoint for the nuclear payload, and head back into the Web. Partway there, I hear the unmistakable sound of fire armor coming up behind me. I'd had enough of him by that point, so I turned around, and threw down with him right then and there. With the help of a Super Arachnoid he'd aggroed on himself, I beat him down, let him wander into some Arachnoids, then finished him off myself before he racked up any debt.
I don't think I'll ever have a more satisfying PvP kill as that one.

Oh, this is easy.
So I'm a RIGS 'bot named RIGbot Tango (the CoV equivalent of a Taxibot), and one of my groupmates and I were in Bloody Bay. We were just poking around, not looking for trouble, and RIGbot Ninja tells the group that a hero is coming over to attack her.
RIGbot Tango is a Stalker, so I fly over to see if there's anything I can do to help. I get there just in time to see Ninja, a Mastermind with all of her robots set to passive and a hero standing in front of her, say in the local channel, "We are not here to fight, we just want to be left alone."
Well, of course, that doesn't mean diddly to the hero, who starts wailing away. Ninja just says, "STOP!" as I get in position and pop a few Enrages and an Accuracy.
BAM! Hero goes down with one hit, and Ninja's robots never even fired a shot. I walk around the dead hero's body and /e wave, just as I see Ninja in the local channel say, "I told you" and we left.
My second favorite moment would have to be when the Taxibots, including me, Taxibot Belle, were doing our first ever badge tour of Bloody Bay. We made the mistake of broadcasting an ad for the badge tour, which we have since learned is the equivalent of yelling, "Hey, villains! Come kill me!"
I happened to be the Taxibot that got to witness an interesting escalation of violence. A hero and some villains started fighting, and as villains figured out that there was a kinetics defender just standing at that location, they kept coming. As heroes passed through the tour, they typically came back to my location to join the battle and help out.
Next thing you know, there was a raging war at my location. The villains were trying to kill poor little defenseless me, and the heroes were bravely defending my position. Meanwhile, we were continuing the tours all the while.
We ended up getting a valuable new recruit from our tour/war that night, and it ended up being a lot of fun, but it was really dicey there for a while. There's a complete writeup of the event in the Taxibots forum.

Stalker missed his chance at an Assassin Strike on me in Bloody Bay, I turned and hit him with a Focus (me: claws/regen scrapper) When he got to his feet he superspeeded away but must have been a bit disoriented because he ran himself straight into one of the open phone booths!
I superspeeded in pursuit, hit him in the phone booth with another Focus, and hockey-checked him into the booth, my body blocking the door, and then proceeded to get my points across in our little spat.
The guy sent me hate tells for fifteen minutes afterwards saying I had cheated, I pointed out that he was the one who ran into the phone booth, and that - on the bright side - at least he didnt have to go far to call 9-1-1

Dude, griefing is going AFK in your own damn hospital in Siren's Call, keeping anyone from collecting bounty on you. The MM deserved what he got, and even though I've played many villains in my time, I thank you for doing what you did.

I was on my MA/SR in Sirens, I notice three Brutes in the water. One of them had been gunning for me all night without success. Two of the Brutes are full health the other about 50%, I'm like "why not" and rush in, well I got a nice build-up crit with Crane and another kick later the 50% brute is down. His buddies are not happy. Umm lets just say I was on a roll and they did'nt last long either...
There are no such things as good PvP moments. PvP is a blight, a haven for immaturity and one-upmanship and the self-proclaimed "1337".
The original post illustrates exactly the kind of crap that makes PvP such an unmitigatedly joyful experience for all involved. Most of the rest just reinforce it; the highlights seem to consist of pounding people into the ground who are not able to actually contend with the person doing the pounding.
That really, truly, deeply impresses me with your superiority... yes it does.

pvp is available to those that wish to participate in a free form rock-paper-scissors forum. it has a learning curve. i remember the first time is was ever hit by a stalker. [censored] was the second thing through my brain after the as. i didn't even know what one was at that time. lesson learned. pvp is a self leveling process that you can be a part of or not. personally, i try to coach while i'm there to help people with their experience, and at the same time play to the fullest of my abilities. i also happen to swear often still. just because people use terms like 1337 in broadcast means it doesn't happen in rl? kanye west just said he should be in the bible or some such. i bet he doesn't get what he wants.
my fave moment? i'm running my claw/sr scrapper in siren's and just logged in out in front of the villain base. i run a whoall before hitting toggles and see a familiar name with skill. thinking hey great, i hope i run into s.s.. now i'm moving to get the toggles/travel up and the countdown timer runs out. whack, but not dead (ty being of grace) and manage to sj out. what follows is an epic 15 minute joust fest across sirens with me hating placate more than ever because it saves their hide (punny) several times while whipping about trying to get health back from the last trade myself. nobody interupted, but there wasn't many there either. i finally bit the bullet from a last joust that looked very nice for me, but then placate, whack, i sj back and get hit again on a wrong turn at albequerque and out.
it was an excellent moment. the kind that make pvp'ing worth it in the first place. ignore who you have too, that is what it's there for.
Kittens give Morbo gas.
Silly noob I had that happen too once I droped a scrapper attacking our base in BB and then went after the troller with him and drop the troller. I turn around to see the scrapper us an awake i was like your dead on pricaple here sorry.
