Sorry Jedi, but you're wrong. You were close, in that your descriptions of the two kinds of levels are well done, but you've got the names all mixed around. The Security level is in fact the level you've trained to. However, Threat Level is actually the villainous name for the exact same thing. Combat Level is what you describe in the second section, and applies to both Heroes and Villains under the same name.

You know what we should get (read: what I want)? We should have Tyrant as a Villain trainer, and Warm Fuzzy Lord Recluse as the Hero trainer.

1) That's been adressed by a Dev, I'll dig up the post after this. The idea was that A) Inspirations were immaterial, and that Heroes and Vilains don't often inspire each other and B) there will eventually be Hero- and Villain-only inspirations, which will be unbalanced if used by the opposite side.

2) There's a suggestion relating to this in the first few pages of the Suggestions and Ideas forum (Enemy List or something like that).

I had a good time today on a PUG in Siren's with my D3. The team was pretty horrible, with the usual hero team mentality of "PH34R US L4M3R V1LL41NS!!", until one of them gets killed, at which point half the team quits (I mean literally, this happened today). The team slowly rebuilds, with me one of the few sticking around but not actually being the leader. I just wander around, mostly do my own thing, and generally try to Defend my team. I know that Stalkers can kill me very nicely, so today I decided to be mobile. I'm able to chat during the downward arc of SJ, so I very rarely stop moving for long.

Being a D3, I'm not terribly effective against most things, I can mez a few ATs, the Fear will get most anything besides /Ninjitsu Stalkers and /DA Brutes, and Tar Patch interrupts AS'ers. However, I have no +perception, so I only see about half of the villains in the zone.

Given that I don't really care for the team I'm on (I usually side with the villains in those "You are teh coward!!1!" broadcast "debates") and knowing that I can really bother some Stalkers with TP and FS, I ask each Stalker that enters the zone if they'd like me to leave my team to rot and let them earn some SOs. Hey, I'm being nice to someone!

Anyway, none of the two or three Stalkers there ask me to leave, so I stick around. And while I'm there, although people do occasionally die, I do everything within my power to mez, debuff, unhide, interrupt, kill, and generally make the violence miserable for them. Everyone on the team gets killed once or twice, I personally go down two times (thanks mostly to a generous supply of Breakfrees), but the villains never have much success. I feel like I really helped out there.

For single best moment, I have to go with the part where I run in, Stun one /Rad Corruptor and Hold the other, and then fear the /Regen Stalker, completely incapacitating the villains in that fight while my team recovers. I felt genuinely useful.

That guy is GOOD. I've only managed to kill him twice so far, he's got a way of just completely shutting me down.

In fact, I killed him earlier today and got the 5.0 rep bonus bounty from him in bloody bay. For a defender to be able to live long enough to acquire that bounty is amazing.

I know I'm very, very late to this (I never realised what I had done was any kind of accomplishment), but I'd just like to say I'm honored to have this said of me -- and by such talented Stalkers, at that!
