Oh, cool, thanks Awry.
Hmm, so the inner circle of the Legacy Chain may have been infilatrated, I can't wait to see what that means in game.
It's definately something CoV is missing, in CoH you unscramble all the mysteries surronding the various groups. But in CoV you're only interested in hurting or bypassing them.
Hmm, it mention one of the Korean Hero, Mirror Spirit... Interesting...

Very nice. The only obvious missing detail is how they scream like little girls when you ram your steel claws through their organs. Otherwise, it was a good read.

Weird, didn't fix it for me.
Try right clicking on the image and select reload? Let me know if that works.
I love this update. The Legacy Chain is my favorite new group to come out of the Rogue Isles.

Anyone know which kind of Legacy Chain the 4th picture is? I've never seen one that looks like that and I couldn't place which zone it was taken in.
Perhaps Grandeville?

<.< after reading that... err... I have this strange feeling that they're eventually going to be a story-arc in CoH where the Legacy chain decides your hero is misusing some mystic temp power or artifact and comes after you till you can clear your name...
o.o course, I've also always wondered why the game is missing the traditional "framed hero" story arc where all the other heroes (in this case, FF, longbow,wyvern...) comes after you to bring you to justice and you have to prove you've been framed..

That looks like lot like the Legacy of Light bosses, so that's what I assume it is. As for the zone, it LOOKS like the Hell Forge is in the background, which would indicate that the zone is Sharkhead.
Anyway, very nice article. It's good to hear a little more about the Legacy Chain, and it really is a shame that they don't seem to go above level 30 in CoV.
EDIT: Sleepy, have you ever done the "The Evil Countess Crey" story arc? That has something pretty close to what you're looking for, I think.

I think they're called Radiant of Light.
Definitely one of the "Light" bosses. All the Legacy of Light wear white and gold, and only the bosses have capes.
These guys seem like they could potentially be a pain in the butt for some magic-based heroes. Defintely one of those 'shades of grey' type organizations. I'm surprised they don't get on Azuria's case more often, the way her vault is a revolving door.

pretty sure this is a Crey arc you get in Brickstown.

err... you mean where countess crey trumps up charges on you? that one really isn't.. sides, it's only for a mission or two.. I'm thinking of something where hero groups (NPC heroes, not player ones, not crey which are villain NPCs everywhere but outbreak) ambush you or raid a mission your on (ie, impeade you) to prove your inoccence

On the Game Info: Enemies page the selector also lets you examine the Mooks and Marcones page, only when you attempt to go there you get a 404 error.

It's been awhile but if I remember correctly both crey and malta come after you during that arc. Now while we as heroes know about their evil intents to the outside public they still have an image as good guys. Pre cov I think this was as close to what you are looking for as possible since at that point there wasn't any npc hero groups other than the major ones and who really wants to try to fight an ambush of States and Co.

I LOVE the Legacy Chain. They're really cool. Awesome names, awesome costumes, awesome concept...
...and it doesn't hurt that I stumbled upon them with my magic corruptor The "Hierophant of Flames" who I named even before I knew the Legacy Chain existed.
It was fun to realize that he was named very similarly to the disciples of the Flame. I realized in the first mission I met them that they'd be his natural archenemies, and that was cool as all get out.

My HERO just recieved a Koalin Legacy of the Earth gladiator badge. How the heck did I get it?
I do wish they where later in the game, and better yet more tech enemies. Man, should have made our base magic instead of tech.
