Legacy Chain - Enemy Group Update
I can't take the Legacy Chain seriously because I keep picturing them as just having gotten off their shifts at the Renaissance festival.

Thanks. Now I'm gonna think of that everytime I smack them around...
Wait... that'd make an awesome hero. Thanks for the battlecry!

I have trouble taking them seriously because they have names like Lambent of Light.

I can't help but notice how the Legacy Chain have secret identities, something player Heroes don't have an option on.
But, what happened to the Midnight Squad?

Must... read... when not... overcome by sleep...
Just had to post it's great to see an Enemy Group update for these guys, since they are my favorite CoV enemy group (followed by Wyvern, sorry Longbow & Arachnos*, i fight you guys WAY to often for you to still earn a favorite spot )
* = that and i don't truly see Arachnos as an enemy group
Like Underworld? Then take a look at! http://moonid.net/account/recruitmen.../monstersgame/
And don't forget to join the fight for our City! http://www.cohtitan.com/forum/index....ard,134.0.html
Wait wait... secret identities?
So the Longbow grunts, who wear masks are all fully registered with the authorities and have little cards, even though their "super" powers consist of small arms fire.
The "secretive" legacy chain who wield magical elemental powers, lay down glowy glyph traps, and hunt evil magic users as a "second life" have never so much THOUGHT of putting on a mask... unless they're swords and hence possess zero super powers.
As time goes by I just can't help but wonder exactly how and when the forces of good got so friggin' dense.

Weren't they basically wiped out in the Rikti War? I remember a couple of higher-end CoH missions that basically said that the Midnight Squad's surviving members had become more librarians and historians than crime fighters.
Nice article. I wonder why their magic is limited to fire, earth and light. No water? No lightning? No sonics?

[/ QUOTE ]Lightning and water came into contact with each other and blew themselves up. Ever since that time, lightning and water have never been taught. Sonic went on to play for Van Halen.

Hrm. I like this, I really like the whole "secret council" and having agents based out of Croatoa angle. It seems like the CoV files are a little smaller than the CoH files-is there a reason for that, or is it just a matter of writing style?
Also, kind of 'eh' about Ghost Mirror being a new focus because she's 'better' than Numania when it comes to the whole magician gig. Num seems to have gotten the short end of the stick when it comes to characterization stick, and now the magic secret police are already looking at the new model?
I don't mind Mirror Spirit getting sold, but the Chain being worried because a powerful magician hero popped out of nowhere is just as reasonable, and doesn't imply that the two 'magician' sigs have a clear hierarchy of skill between them. Admittedly, I could be misreading or misunderstanding the intent there, and I'm not aware of the whole story-for all I know, the Chain doesn't watch Numania so closely because she's a part of that Inner Council.
Anyway, all in all, good article, very interesting group, though I still feel like poor Numania could really use something to do, or a story of something she did do somewhere in the game.
Only thing I would like to know is where that stone guy in the second picture is, I've never seen that mountain before. Anybody know?
