Why?

You know there are some very good guides out there that people have taken a lot of time and work to write.
They post them in the guides section because this section unlike many of the others is never purged, so that other will always have the benefit of there hard work and true love of this game.
It’s posts like this that cheeping all of their work and colluder up the guides section with meaningless worthless garbage, if this is a joke post a sad attempt to be funny or an attempt to point out the obvious it should have been posted in the general forums where it could quickly be forgotten.

8. Cover up your ineptitude by telling people you're only eight years old.

But still use two-dollar words like "ineptitude" correctly in a sentence.

9. Read guides by people who haven't played the character past level 10.

*that was my intention for this, not to be funny, but sick of people posting guides, without hard numbers or playing the character to 50.

Hmm.....I guess I disagree with this. Although a newer person writing a poor guide can be annoying, the replies that follow it(assuming they are mature and non-flaming) can actually help not only the original OP, but anyone else reading such guides. There is far too much impatience and assumption of stupidity on these forums sometimes. Why not make a poor guide into a positive post?

Why not gather that information prior to posting a guide?

Being LvL 50 isnt a magical antidote to stupidity. Plenty of people out there that have "maxed" out characters that I wouldnt trust a guide from if my virtual life depended on it.

Those are your first post and your second post. How is your intention (from your second post) fulfilled with the list in your first post?

If you were trying to be humorous, eh, go check out the How to know you're in a PuG thread. If you're not trying to be humorous, you're...? Cuz whatever you're shooting for, you're currently stuck in left field...

Total agreement.

I've played with high level characters who were completely inept and had no idea what their job in the team was or how to go about doing it. I've had an idiot Tanker tell my tank that, "Tanks are boring. Its just hitting button 1 through 5 and repeating." ...Mind you, he was always on the fringe of the group hitting minions.

As long as there is any possibility of PLing incompetents to 50 without any effort or consideration, level 50 characters don't mean [Expletive deleted].

Howabout posting a guide when you have nothing to say?

Howabout the fact that "hard numbers" are a myth. A flat out myth. I canput numbers in a FAQ and call them "hard," and regardless of whom that turns on, it's virtually meaningless, in as much as until you test them well enough to have had a rough idea about them yourself, for all you know I could just be making it up.

Still. >.> This guide may have some merit.

10. Always kill first, the thing with effects you've never seen prior to running with this team. (e.g., purple bubbles 'round the head, green wispy clouds circling)
