Castle,
I appreciate the response, but the impression your giving is that User documented bugs in a friendly and well thought out format only get attention from developers willing to put in an extra amount of overtime out of the goodness of their hearts rather than having dedicated resources to address these very serious concerns.
At the very least you give the impression that the community doing these things is pretty much a wasted time and are/have been likely ignored for a very long time as player concerns are basicly being/have been ignored.
Like I said, I very much appreciate you looking at these issues Castle, but to me this just re-enforces the notion that the dedicated users are being ignored. It certainly explains why the fact that Controller Storm powers have been operating at Defender Strength or better for over a year.

Not it at all. Many of the issues in the list already make it into our bug database. Most of the things I am looking at are considered fairly low priority in the grand scheme of things. Yes, I know that there are some fairly egregious issues on the various user compiled bug lists, and they should probably be higher priority than they are -- and that is why I take time during my lunch hour and when generating data from spreadsheets to look at issues that are important to you guys, rather than just looking at our bug database.
As for other community reps, that's on the "Things to do" list. After CoV beta ended, we decided we wanted to continue the idea, but being short on personnel, especially those who have an in depth knowledge of the powers system, we've not yet decided how to go about it. It will probably happen at some point in the not so distant future, but it is also possible we never get a properly trained core group to divvy up the responsibilities effectively.
In the meantime, I do what I can.

Just curious, do they have a Blaster rep in mind yet? We wanna know if anything is being done with the secondaries yet

If you could really take a little time and take a look at the Trick Arrow/Archery issues, that would be great.
Castle,
Your a hero in the users eyes!
Geko posted in October saying that he'd go through the list. And _Castle_ appears to be Geko's go-to guy for separating the wheat from the chaff when it comes to power set issues
Anyways, _Castle_, I've dusted off my bubbler a few times since I6 hit. All I really have to say is that one or two of the Final 3 powers of the set has to do something other than keeping mobs out of melee. The value of doing so isn't entirely clear. It's ironic that force bubble is cheap enough to use 24/7, and is one of the only perma ninth tier defender powers, but is the most rarely used. You gotta look at giving us something to do with our primary beyond buffing defense on melee-heavy teams.
Thanks for looking at us!
Will Leeroy Jenkins be the Blaster Rep?
Just wondering.
I am serious.
About me wondering.
That is what I was serious about.
This post is way too serious.
I'm serious about that.
Okay, now I am concerned.
Not syaing you would, but Try not to Overwhelm _Castle_, guys. There's a litteral [censored]-storm going on with Stalkers right now and he has to wade through it until some of the frustration those other AT's are feeling is quelled. As defenders, we should be used to being on the backburner by now. And he was already looking into a number of Defender issues in Nov so try not to bring up a lot of things that may be redundant.

I grabbed a copy of the "Defender Issues" post a couple weeks ago and am working through it in my spare time. Considering the length of it, I will probably have gotten through it sometime in Janurary.

Hate to be a jerk, but I will believe it when I see it. My faith in attention to defenders was lost a loonngg time ago unfortunatly, please prove me wrong.
Cheers!

I volunteer. Seriously. I'll work for peanut wages and sleep in a cot under my desk.
Dont play the set myself but from what I can tell they are in more demand now than ever, in some casses teams usually dont do to well without them. So where is it exactley they need attention? maybe Storm? or Archery?

We've got issues abound. Chances are you really wouldn't notice them unless you played a defender. Yeah, the entire TA set is an issue.

You don't play the sets obviously. Check out the defender issues thread though if you really want to have an idea.

After you get done with Defenders (and yes I really want Defenders fixed) could you please move on to Tanks next. I love my Defender as much as my Tank but right now the only character I refuse to play now is my Tank.

I thought you left the game Cuddles.
Good to hear about Defender issues your looking into Castle. Surprising you are but good nonetheless

Well after they fixed Rage from having the 100% End Drain I thought I would stay. I mean I know how you wanted it in and everything but it was one of the main things that would drive me from the game.
Glad you cared enough to remember that way back when.

Some people just don't realize that defenders are not happy that more and more people are saying "We need a healer."
Just because "Healers" are wanted in teams does not mean that defenders don't have issues. Hobo, please do not remind me about how pitifull my damage is in PvP.

And it is appreciated.
You might see a lot of griping and moaning on the forums, but believe me, there are plenty of us who read much more than we post and I think most of us as well as most posters love the fact that you are so dedicated to the game and to the players.
Thanks, Castle!
