This conference was called to announce the founding of The Weapon Project. As you all have read on your news release, my powers come from an old, now defunct government attempt at creating superheros.
When I was trapped in my suit an attempt on my life was made, and I fled here to Paragon City where the Might for Right act protects registered super humans so long as they continue to work for the common good or forswear they're powers.
Well, as we all know I have worked now for 2 years to help keep this city safe, and it has recently come to my attention that there were others involved in that old government project. 80 others to be precise. I am searching for these individuals. I want to aid them as the Guardians of Order have aided me, giving me teammates and a home.
As such, taking the name from that old project, I have founded a new Super-group. The Weapon Project will now be accepting applications from all heroes, but we are specifically seeking those involved in the 1980s Weapon Project. It was a joint Crey Ind. and US Government project.
If you are one of the 80, you have a home with us. If you are not you still have a home with us. The door, is always open... We'll leave a 'porter warm for ya...

TimeSink was founded in Jan 08 by a husband/wife team with seven-plus years combined experience of in-game play.

Our well-equipped base optimizes PvE (Player vs. the Environment) support.
PvP (Player vs. Player) and Base Raids are not currently active interests of the group - beyond the fulfillment of missions and obtainment of badges.
Roleplaying is up to the individual, and is usually sporadic, spontaneous, short-lived and performed in jest.
In this game, you get badges for everything, fighting, falling in battle, healing, exploring, learning, clicking on this, stumbling across that... In many cases, collecting the badges earns a small amount of experience/prestige, or adds to a collection that eventually bestows a special power or asset. Regardless, badges are important to some players just because they can be collected <ahem> MUST be collected. It becomes an obsession. But they are not for everyone. We at Timesink understand this. However, we also know that you cannot escape the acquisition of certain badges if you actually play the game, as opposed to getting power-leveled. Since we are interested in building a membership of true gamers, we scrutinize badges. To qualify as a candidate a toon must have 3 badges per level of experieince - not including Veteran Reward badges. That means a level 9 toon must have 27 badges, a level 50 must sport 150. Anyone who collects badges knows this is ridiculously easy to do.
Although we are equipped with Teamspeak and other speech enabling systems, we prefer not to use them. We dont all speak the same language; we dont all have enough practice with using a mic. But in the heat of a battle, the shouts and cursing always come through, and that causes drama.
Exploring content, earning prestige (the currency of supergroups), meeting new people and making friends are the chief goals of TimeSink.
Membership is select, drama-free and self-sufficient. Candidates must be mature in attitude if not in age, and display genuine interest in playing the game as opposed to just leveling-up.
Let me reiterate that to qualify as a candidate a toon must have three badges per level of experience - not including Veteran Reward badges.
New players are welcome, providing they truly wish to learn to play the game, and are not just looking for hand-outs and hand-ups. New players (no Veteran Rewards badges) may apply for candidacy at Level 14. Other requirements must also be met.
Established players are of course welcome, too. With at least one Veteran Rewards badge, such a player can ask for membership for a toon of any level, providing he/she meets the other requirements.
Alternate toons are also welcome. If you've got extra characters that need a home, TimeSink has the space --- for now. see other requirements.
Be aware that a toon's access to TimeSink's resources is directly proportional to the amount of prestige that toon brings in to the SG. Toons with no or low prestige counts will be the first to go if and when space becomes an issue.
Any conduct determined by the founders of TimeSink to be illegal (ref Terms of Agreement) shall be reported to the appropriate authorites and see the player expelled from the group. Ditto for x-rated behavior, prejudicial remarks, harrassment of any kind, extreme exploitation or apalling sportsmanship.

The Dark Knights of Overkill (DKoO) has been around since 2006 and the Knights of Overkill (KoO) has been around since 2004.
DKoO is a PvP SG. We do base raids, Fight Nights and anything PvP based. We have a PvP trainer, who's sole purpose is to help our SG members learn anything and everything PvP related, but only if our members want to learn. (careful, he is evil in his ways) We have weekly events that normally take place on the weekends. I am one of the PvPEC Reps for Triumph, so events are my thing! We have a wide variety of players, from top PvPers to the just starting out. If all you want to do is base raids, that is great! Come join us in the fun! Basically, we are a bunch of friends that like to play together when possible. We only recruit after teaming up with others, unless we recruit friends; as after 1st promotion, all members have access to ALL storage. We have a wide variety of archetypes, from scraps, epics, blasters and trolls, which makes up the majority of our members.
We have roughly 20 unique members, maybe more. Our SG base isnt much, but we have most ammenities- workbenches, enhancement tables, buff machines, lots of storage and a couple of TPs. As well as some decor.
We are ACTIVE daily and growing. We mostly run missions, we all lub a good TF as well as MA runs. So, if you are looking for a SG to hang your cape, give us a shout.
No standard uniform has been designed yet, though we are milling through ideas atm, and SG colors/emblem are optional.
SG mode required until 100K prestige is gained, then you may toggle in/out of SG mode at will.
Your 1st promotion is automatic and will be given within 48 hours of SG membership.

Triumph Search and Rescue is a Supergroup dedicated to helping others. We pride our selves on kindness and the thought that one small favor to someone can go a long way. TSAR works differently from other Supergroups. I am going to tell you up front now, you can not just sit a toon in the Supergroup. I expect every member to go on "patrol" or "on duty" in various zones every 15 days for 15 minutes at least. It looks like its asking alot, but its really not at all . TSAR wants to make this game better for all of us.
Now traditionally, TSAR is a healer SG, however, times have changed, the Hollows is not popular, toons easily level now and have ways to get around. But thats all we are remembered for...TSAR did not only help others by running around healing, buffing, rezing, and tping. But by our Triumph Help global channel. I will use this as a device to anwer any game questions and ask that you join as well, it used to be a popular channel, i would like it to return.

Progress on the Triumph Trisortion has been mild, but I thought I'd post to update you on our most recent advancements.

Our base now includes a medical and invention room.
