Our group was just created today by myself and my wife. We wanted to create a group for casual gamers new and old to go for team activities. Our rules are simple, or goals are true, and we just want to have a good time and meet like minded people.
We don't have a base as of yet, but we are working towards one. Eventually, we are looking to do base raids, but that depends on how fast our group goes.
We have a website and forums (both newly created, with little content so far), and plan on keeping close touch with our teammates.

Group Summary: LegionX, prior to CoV, started out about 4-5 years ago as a FPS team which quickly grew into a fairly tight group of friends. We're all 30 somethings who enjoy a relaxed gaming atmosphere. Even though we're pretty much of the same age there are no age restrictions on membership. Everyone knows maturity depends on the individual. The only real restriction is that members need to have a headset/mic. We use Ventrilo quite a bit and find it to be extremely useful in the socialization/tactics aspect whenever we're gaming or just hanging out BS'ing. We are currently recruiting new players. Theme: After being defeated and having his badges stolen for the upteenth time, Teh Pwnxx0rz was kicked from the Freakshow. Enraged, he formed his own group of outcast Freaks.
Requirements: There is no naming policy, but there are a few theme rules to remember. You should have powersets based off some kind of Freak (Juicers -> Electric powers; Swipers -> Claws) and a decent Freakshow costume (You obviously can't have a big metal claw, but you get the idea).

Theme: Casual, alts welcome. If you mostly solo but need an occasional group or simply want a place to find people for the strike forces. Whatever you want is fine with us, as long as you stay in SG mode till 25 and as much as possible thereafter.
Requirements: Stay in SG mode till 25, don't be an [censored]. If you're a high level farming for a badge in a low level area, remember that the low level villians have priority and find areas where they aren't. Sarcasm and foible tweaking are fun, but don't overdo it. Having fun isn't required, but then why are you playing?
If your name ends with a '.', has unusual caps or is bracketted in X's, you probably won't like us, unless the name was meant to be ironic 
Oh, and we don't powerlevel, ever. If you don't have the patience to level normally (even your 10th villian), then you won't have the patience for our easy going nature.
And, finally, read the sig. It's a big hint on what we're like.
I am looking to start all all controller group (6 people) that will use all powers of the controller class (fire,ice,grav,mind,illusion,earth). It doesn't matter about the secondary, but I would like the team to grow together. We cannot start a group, but we will wear the karate or toga and the colors of your powers (fire=red,ice=blue,grav=purple,mind=grey,illusion= black, earth=green). If anyone is interested, send me an e-mail --- cmtkynard@sbcglobal.net. We will work on the base with the new I7 extras. We can all meet on certain days and still work individually. The goal is to help each other with the power of control. As I mentioned, the goal is to have a group that look like GODS (the toga might be the best way...). I would like to have the mind control, but I am open to whatever. Once the team fills up, we can meet sunday 3pm ET (I live in el paso, tx) and we can get to lvl 10 together pretty quickly, by missions or sewer. Were a relatively new and growing super group for those heroes who enjoy beating the crud out of villains and criminals. If you have heroes that are looking for some devoted criminal stompers, then Citizens of Paragon may be the right fit.
We provide a place for people to team together, have laughs, and simply play the game for fun. We offer a mature setting where fun and teamwork are key. We dont have a litany of rulesbeing a team player and having a good sense of humor are our only requirements. Members are not locked into one role, like being a prestige-collecting drone. Each member is encouraged to be active in the super groups development in other ways. All thoughts and suggestions from super group members are welcome. Active heroes can develop into co-leaders of the super group. However all activity levels are acceptedwhether you play every day, or if youre only able to be online a few hours each week.

Paradox is always accepting applications, but most typically full. We are an uberly active VG whos primary focus is to PvP. We constantly team together for missions so lower lvl members always have a team, and when the time is right we head to Warburg or SC and dominate the area. We are currently ranked 10 on prestige(which we have spent quite wisely on a great looking and operational base) Teamspeak is required as well is being active on our forums. We have a very strict activity policy due to how many of our members play a day(around 50 a day) so we do kick regularly but you can always ask to be reinstated. The last requirement is maturity, We prefer all members to be at least 16.

Who's allowed to join MadVillainy?
Active Main Characters. Alts can join one of our coalitioned SVGs.
What's expected of MadVillainy members?
All members are expected to produce at least 20k Prestige per month. Considering everything members receive in return, and it amounts to perhaps 5 hours of gameplay with SG-mode on, this is a very small price to pay. Most members generate far more than 20k, but we also recognize the need to sometimes turn SG-mode off to earn infamy for SOs. Members are also expected to play at least once every 20 days. Allowances are made as needed, but overall, we require our members be helping us advance, not be dead weight filling up a slot that someone else could be using to better ends.
Why so serious?
Like I said. We have our eye on rank #1. You don't get there by being teh weaksauce.

**HERO DEPOT has been around since June of 2004 and has historically been a small supergroup of friends.
**We'd like to expand in numbers but retain the sense of "family" that we've always had.
**We ask that you stay in sg mode until level 25 after which point it's entirely up to you (but we won't get upset if you decide not to run in sg mode for some reason even before that).
**We don't have log in or participation requirements. If you're looking for an easy-going group of people to hang out, chat, and bust heads with, then we're the supergroup for you!

Arctic Avengers
This is an all ice SG. members must have ice as primary or secondary power set. Controllers will be accepted with storm summoning as secondary set.
There is no website or voice chat at this time. Depending on membership and interest that may come later.
The concept of this SG is based in Silver age comics. I will be working on a SG uniform over the weekend, i will ask that members wear their uniforms when teaming with other members.
Rules--- Act like an adult.
1. racial, anti-[censored], or otherwise off color comments and jokes wont be tolerated.
2. Respect others opinions, you dont have to agree.
3. This is City of Heroes... play as such. be willing to help others.

Website: Um...well...a couple of the principles are web developers IRL, so you know how it goes: the cobbler's children have no shoes.
Theme: The Carnival of Light is The Praetorian World's equivalent of this dimension's Carnival of Shadows, but with one very important difference: they're heroes. In their world, the Carnival are freedom fighters, dedicated to overthrowing the Praetorian tyranny. When a freak accident occurred during a desperate battle deep in the heart of the Portal Corporation, one troupe of Carnies was thrust into this world and scattered all over Paragon City. Their Ring Mistress, Lili "Festival" duValle, gathered them up again and forged them into an elite fighting force dedicated to defeating the Carnival of Shadows. She has vowed that the name "Carnie" will someday be spoken not with fear, but with admiration and delight.
Requirements: Just make a Carnie! Do your best with the character creator to make a Harlequin, a Strongman...what-have-you. The brighter and more garish the colors, the better! Magic origin is most common and fits with one of the common RP themes (in which many of the troupe refere to their "spells"), but isn't required. All Hero ATs welcome...we even have a Carnie Warshade.
RP'ing - The Carnival of Light is an RP group. Members are expected to stay in-character to the best of their abilities while teaming. We don't sacrifice efficent gameplay to this end (sign on as a "guest performer" with a Carnie team sometime...and be prepared to steamroll the bad guys!), but the focus is on character development and interplay. If RP isn't your thing, this SG isn't for you. If you're not an RP'er but would like to start, we'll make it easy for you!
Notes: We're PvE-oriented, but individual Carnies are encouraged to enjoy PvP and impromptu team "performances" in PvP zones take place from time to time. As with PvE play, all Carnies are expected to conduct themselves in PvP in a manner which brings credit to the troupe.
