I have the Spider Smasher badge on my hero so it is possible to obtain 
...but almost all the Arachnos I defeated were in a friend's PvP mission's in Bloody Bay
what level do you have to be to do those missions?
Anything below 38, it seems.
Well... I'm screwed on Virtue then =P Maybe I can bribe someone to take me on some.

you can do a gladiator match against a villian... i had a team gladiator the other day with a villian on my team. unfortunatly the moron forgot to set his gladiators and doomed us all
Could be you need low arachnos, cause i killed so many in siren's and warburg...
As for the 38 maximum thing, that's because the Lvl 50 PvP zone isn't there yet, since villains cap at 40. Expect a 50 Zone with i7 when villains can get 50.

I PMed Positron about this. He said that heroes above level 38 will have to wait for Recluse's Victory to get PvP zone missions themselves but they can RSK down with a lower level hero/villain to get all the badges except the patrol one. You can actually get Forward Observer by killing people, but I think it takes 400 rep points.

Oooh, nice! 300 is a rather lot, so I've gotta get to work.
I can also confirm that Skyraider Engineer is for 100 FF generators and that razorvine is for a bunch of razorvines (maybe 200).
300 razorvines for Bladegrass, too.

Bladegrass and Steel are both confirmed in CoH only by myself.

Swift Steel is confirmed. Not exactly sure how many Ancestor Spirits you need, but you need A LOT. Plan to spend anywhere between 2 and 3 hours hunting them in Talos.
I haven't been able to see if they're worth it or not.
Update: Ok, I got to try them and yes, they are quite worth it.
Okay, I have a list of the last few gladiators left in CoH that need to be confirmed:
Herc Titan - Supposedly unlocked for gladiator wins, perhaps with Grand Lunasta
Warcry - Perhaps from killing 300 Hoverbots or Council Warcry robots
Guardian mu - From Killing Mu
Research Assitant - I think it's supposed to be unlocked by Crey Havoc in IP, so I'm trying to get confirmation that this is in the game and working as intended

Killed 299 Ancestor Spirits (maybe 300 perhaps I miscounted one) and got "Swift Steel".
Regarding Fortunata Seer and Arachnobot: I think these are CoV-only gladiators. I'm pretty sure that Villains get gladiators that heroes can't get, similar as heroes get gladiators that villains can't get (for example Meson or Behemoth Overlord).
Anyone has imformation about the requirements of "Abomination"? Vidiotmaps says it comes with the "Synapse Cohort" TF badge, but I can't believe this (Abomination is a Vazhilok minion, so why get this at a Clockwork TF?). Maybe it is for the Positron TF badge? Sadly most heroes I checked with either had both Positron and Synapse TFs or neither of them.
Could some of you maybe fill me in with informations?
Same goes for:
Boulder - Maybe Liberator, the Eden Trial Badge?
Omega wolf - The Silver Bullet?
7th Generation Paragon Protector - Infiltrator?
Wraith - Croatoa Haunted badge?
Anyone just recently got one of those and could verify if s/he also got a gladiator?

I have two characters with the Crey Havoc badge, none of them have gotten the Research assistant gladiator

Wraith is definitely unlocked by the Croatoa Haunted badge, I got the two at the same time.
Abomination- I have the Synapse TF badge, but not the Positron TF badge and I do have Abomination.
Any chance the Abomination badge is associated with the Embalmed Vhaz badge? Certainly has nothing to do with BPs that I can logically see
Kind of curious why defeating Ancestral Spirits gives you Swift Steel.
Some Gladiator badge requirements seem pretty straight forward to their reward, while others are just kind of "out there".

Well, Swift Steel is a Tsoo boss and Acenstor Spirits are Tsoo LTs...I guess they're kinda related. Personally, I'd rather have the Swift Steel than an ancestral spirit.

But over-powered Bosses aren't exactly needed 
A Red Ink (or even Yellow Ink) man would be very nice to have; dangerous, yet killable.
