No, the Arachnos symbol is some sort of stylized red spider (well, the spider legs, at least).

Oh I never even noticed they all had matching tatoos on their heads. I guess I'm too busy using it as a target for where to plant my foot.

Oh man, I love that stylised purple anarchy symbol. I wish it actually appeared on the Tank Smasher badge (as well putting the Vahzilok "Circled V" patch/tattoo on the Gravedigger badge). Barring that, I'd love to see it on a badge for some sort of special mission/event/taskforce against the Freakshow.

The weird thing is that looks like one of the old planescape faction symbols for me - not exactly mind you, just in general style. I dunno if that's because I've been re-reading the stuff lately for use in a 'real life' game but eh.
Of course, The planescape references are all over the game anyway, even before Lord Recluse got his ... bits into it. heh.

I'll have to go find a freak and check out the tatoo on their heads now. Last time I zoomed into one to check it out, it didn't look like the symbol in the link. Instead it looked like a black spider.
Or maybe my graphics card is the suxxor...
They paint it on the walls sometimes too. I just recently saw it in the mission where Nemesis is selling weapons to the Freaks (one of the coolest looking maps ever... mostly due to lighting).
