Freakshow Lore Question

Hmm. What about cookies? What villain factions will work for cookies?
[/ QUOTE ]
The Coven.
They're suckers for Thin Mints.

According to in game descriptions, they have "care takers".
[/ QUOTE ]
All I can say to that is:
o.O
O.o
I will have to keep my eyes peeled for that, I've never seen anything alluding to it... What a job that must be..
[/ QUOTE ]
IIRC (at work and don't have the game handy right now) In the description of the Mad Freaks and Mad Gunners (the low level minions without much in the way of obvious cybernetics), it says that one of their duties as recruits is to act as "care-takers" for the higher-level Freakshow.
I agree with your reaction there, as in...
The Mad Freaks and Mad Gunners must be aptly named, then. I mean, how crazy would you have to be, when part of your job, as an initiate and new gang member, is helping some Freak Slicer... er... ah... clean up after himself, as it were!
Talk about being LOW man on the Totem Pole! YIKES!!!!! O_O

Also remember that the Freakshow will work for anyone who provides sandwiches and a keg.

Damn, there goes one of my character concepts. I have a toon that got thrown out of the Freakshow for drunkenness and lewd conduct.
Hmm, maybe it just makes her even more extreme...
[/ QUOTE ]
Dude! Drunkenness and lewd conduct are prerequisites for joining the Freakshow!
Now if you, say, hit on Clamour...
Wouldn't Clamor hit you?

Well, my toon musta been one heck of a lush... it's kinda like getting kicked off a tour by someone like, say, Black Sabbath, Slipknot, etc.. In other words, she had to REALLY work at it.
Seeing as how it's a she, well, that'll make it even more interesting, her hitting on Clamor. That'd be a nice mention.
When I created her, I threw this little green Mohawk on her, and envisioned Dreck, Bile, Clamor, and the other Freakshow leaders sitting in a circle around her saying something along the lines of "Look, I know we like to party and get crazy and all... but this is just too much. We're sorry, you gotta go..."

It's true. I have Freakshow doing my laundry back at HQ.
That had to have been a labor of love to get him in that building. I would have thought the general cleaness and orderness would have made his little head pop just by setting foot in there.

I honestly don't quite know how it was done. I was just hanging out with a friend in the Independence Port ICON and we noticed him there. A controller with teleport did something to him (confuse?) and somehow tported him into the store. Then tported him behind the counter. Everyone there had a really good laugh.

Say what? Sammiches? PnJ? Makin em sound like mamas boys. Then again, if they are former business men . . . yuppies gone over the edge? Maybe they would prefer a wrap and a wine cooler.
I can see it now.
Drek's road warrior vehicle pulls up beside Bile's.
Drek: Why excuse me, do you by any chance have any Grey Poupon?

It's the same symbol that Lord Recluse uses, although I'm not certain if it has an official name or not.
[/ QUOTE ]
It is definitely not the Arachnos symbol.
[/ QUOTE ]
It really does have a chitinous look about it, though. I suppose that could reflect their metallic blades and hardware more than a connection to Arachnos (perhaps the little dots on the circle are rivets).
Still -- CONSPIRACY!
[/ QUOTE ]
Remember, in the original CoV video, it was Freakshow supporting Lord Recluse, not that group he has with him now. It's possible it has spider undertones.

strangely enough, thats how I work too.
Going back to the original point of this thread (remember that?) I'm surprised no one else has noticed that the freak symbol looks a lot like a dagger in a circle - while it's obvioulsy descended from the anarchy icon, I don't think the dagger similarity is completely accidental...
I used to have superhuman powers, but my therapist took them away...

I didn't think they actually ate. I thought they got their energy from their drug and batteries or whatever... HOW do they deal with their bodily functions? Are those claws and hammers removable? o_O

Groupies.
Sad. Desperate. Groupies.

Look, they had twelve kegs of Shiner Bock. What did you expect me to do?
I drew the line at the sponge bath, though. I have my standards.
