Same here. Did the Infernal mission twice last night, with no Infernal and no demon portal. Kind of disappointed. 
same thing happened to me and a friend the other day. Wierd... Then in another mission another friend of mine had, he was there, but there was no portal... this was in the dual AV mission with diabolique tho.
Wow, I've done it several times in the past month and it was always extreamly difficult (except once we had an amazing team). I need to get the rest of my group to hurry up and get this mission while it's bugged! 
It's a bug, he's back on the test server now.

this is a known issue. I guess he didnt get the memo to be in his lair when heroes arrive. This will be fixed soon. Thanks for the heads up!
Yeah happened to me today as well. While all my teammates shouted with joy I just felt sad.
Man what a bummer. That is one of the nastiest most fun AV fights with that alter spitting out demons left and right. My only recomendation when doing it is get a mid-sized team. 2-3 is usually too small, and 7-8 will get you way to many bosses summoned from the portal.

He also didn't get the memo about the TPS report. He just sent me one without the new cover sheet!
Yeah, even though he knows about the memo now, why don't you just go ahead and have that memo sent to him again. Yeah...
Oh, and by the way, we'll be needing Infernal to work this weekend, too... so if he could just go ahead and show up... that'd be great. Thanks.
What's worse is that you don't get XP for all the baddies that come out of the portal. I love fighting infernal, grant it, I can't solo him but he and his minions can't touch my fire tank

That's why you pull him, and kill him away from the portal so nothing spawns til you've killed him.

Yup, Immune to burn and pretty much most fire attacks. Greater fire sword seems to work on him for minor dmg though. I'm pretty much immune to his fire attacks as well, so it's a standoff while the other heroes pound on him
Oh, and let him know he needs to talk to payroll about his check.

He's immune to the entire fiery aura set (burn, blazing aura, consume) which I've been guessing is a bug, as he's not immune to fire in general. It makes him one of the few AVs I can't solo, so I'm happy with him that way (I actually have to tank with my tanker, what a shock 
)
So I can go do this mission tonight and spam the boards with "I am teh ubrz r3gin scrapper and I soloed the Infernal mission!!!" tomorrow morning.

Now that's a point. Flea ended up under a mountain of debt along with EVERYONE ELSE on the team due not to the big guy but due instead to his portal buddies. The portal kills. Infernal doesn't. Oh the irony.

...well, as a fire tank, _you're_ mostly immune to fire. He can pound on you with his fire axe until the cows come home and everybody else can mop up the altar and then come after him.

ah ... I will have to get in on that ...I just figured Infernal = Envoy of shadows with even more fire resist or total immunity ....but i would be useful as my secondary capability ..that of meat wall
So I went on two different peoples Infernal missions today, in both of them, Infernal was not in it, neither was the summoning altar. We killed his gaurds, and the mission was completed. I would say this is a bug.
Is he in hiding? Or just scared of me.
