Interesting.....
How philosophical. Gives new weight to "With a friend like that, who needs enemies?"
I always thought it'd be funnier if the Friends list said "You have NO FRIENDS", if you didn't have anyone added...

I swear that that was the VERY FIRST THOUGHT that I had when I read it in my chat box.

Back in alpha it did for a while, I didn't think that would go over too well with real players though.

Personally, I love the funny/sarcastic/cynical seeming error messages like these. They're fun to run across.

Ditto, but it seems that there are to many hypersensitive people out there who can't take a joke.
Now, I'm going to have to add myself as a friend just to get a screenshot of that message.

...Those people can't possibly like themselves enough to treat another them like that...
Makes me wonder what would happen if you tried ignoring yourself....

Not quite as funny... oh well...
Off topic, Arucard...is that just Alucard with an r...like someone mixing those two letters up?
Actually, I believe he's supposed to be Arucard from Hellsing.
(The anime and Manga. Not to be confused with Van Hellsing, the movie)
Correct! Arucard from Hellsing, one of my favorite anime series of all time.
The name from the manga and anime is pronounced "Alucard," but the Japanese alphabet does not have an L (when translated). The letter R is the closest letter translation. Or so I'm told.
...wow, I couldn't be more off topic if I tried. Sorry.

Peas.
To know the correct spelling, try typing Alucard backwards.
If you try to ignore yourself, it should say, "No matter where you go, there you are."

If you go in the trench in TV, the Lost are setting up bombs next to the supports. The bombs don't do anything (unlike Striga) but they aren't labeled bombs. If you click on them, they are called:
Doesntmatter
Maybe it's kinda like anti-matter?
I'd love if you tried to /friend yourself with an empty friends list, and receive the following message: "We're sorry, but even you don't like yourself."

More OT:
To be techincal, the Japanese language has neither an 'l' sound nor an 'r' sound as American English speakers are familiar with them. What they do have is the 'lr'-ish sound familiar to fans of 'Engrish', which gets substituted, sometimes amusingly, for both l and r when doing phonetic translations of English into Japanese.
Thus, Alucard turns into Arucard. Heaven only knows what the name looks like in the original manga, but there is no good english translation. I've always wondered why it was translated as 'Arucard' instead of 'Alucard'. The latter is truer to the source the character was drawn from and is no less phonetically correct.
In the 1943 "Son of Dracula" a woefully miscast Lon Chaney Jr. plays Count Alucard, who is shockingly enough is Count Dracula (the film's title is misleading). Of course he fools 'em for a while with his devilish spelling tricks... but in the end it's a stake through the heart or daylight or something equally lethal to vampires.

Rrrgh...Spell Alucard backwards, darn it! Alucard is the *correct* spelling, as the most famous vampire of all time is not *Dracura*!

When I worked in QA for another publisher one of the Xbox live titles I was permanently assigned to (forever and ever and ever)
Had that text bug in the Friends list for live... it said "You have no friends" The Devs were leaving text bugs till very last so for the length of it's test life we had fun coming up with the rest of the thought here are a few of my fav's
You Have No Friends:
...Loser
...Because you sit at home and play video games all day
...Except your sock puppet Hector
...Your Mom doesn't count
...and no girl will ever talk to you
...Except me, your xbox, I am the only one who will ever understand you, or love you...now, do my bidding!
...But friends are overrated
...But cheer up, you do have some Enemies!
