Levelling is an illusion. I hope that, by Issue 4, people realize it.

I think a different LFG can be formed. For example, if i am looking for Manticore TF, i should be able to select "Looking for Manticore TF"...I mean, how many times have we asked all the LFG people "Hey wanna do X TF??"..If we were able to see "what kind" of group people are looking for, that will be great. And maybe, making "hasten" or "stamina" inherent powers, since i beleibe almost everyone has those two.

Well i dont know how this would work with copyrights and all, but i would think it would be very cool to see some galactic or cosmo NPCs like 100 foot tall beings that are basically gods of the universe they could assign you a super secret mission to save the universe where you could get a special galactic costume or power or somthing,maybe a SG event. I just reread the Infinity Gauntlet the other day and its just a cool story on such an epic scale. Be cool to see somthing like that in the future of COH or COV even.

Nah, I'd prefer to be able to determine the enemy, the basic type of mission and so forth so as to be able to create my own storylines. Let randomization be optional.

If you could use the terminals to do up a mission, then you can do a mission storyline and then run through it with a team

I would like to see AV's made where you any AT could solo them. No, I am not talking about making it easy by changing the AV. What I am saying is that all of the story arcs that lead to an AV fight should be made where there are enough difficult timed missions that a hero must complete in order to make the AV easier to beat solo. And if they complete the set, which you could tie badges to it if you want, then the hero could solo the AV with great difficulty.

Make some of the available AT power sets available to other ATs. For one thing, I would love to see an Assault Rifle/Super Reflexes or a Fire/Invulnerability hero, expanding the no. of power combinations.

Along those lines, I would like to be able to make a hero that was Empathy/Kinetics.

How about a non-agressive NPC ambush? You are going about your business and a bunch of bystanders see you and come after your autograph. Then, one of the bystanders attacks you and you have to figure out which one.

More toon customization options, including animal and alien features. Perhaps a standalone toon creation tool that works offline and creates a file that can be opened during the toon creation process in game.

Vehicles.

More mission locations. How about indoor missions that take place in a ship? Or missions inside pyramids or other exotic locations?

My lil list of hoped for changes in issue 4.

1: Customizable power animations. Pick the type of gun assault blasters use, change wether your claw scrapper uses the extendable wolverine-ish claws or elongated fingernails, change the color of an energy blaster/melee power, choose wether hover is a jetpack, special belt, or just no effects at all.

2: More power sets. Bow n arrow and sonic are nice, but I want even more. Stuff like more secondaries for blasters

3: More enhancement types. Boost the radius of AoE powers, increase the time buff and debuffs last, increase the time DoT powers last

4: Add movable platform support to the game engine. Let us jump ontop of cars and ride them around town, add moving conveyor belts to missions.

4.1: With the ability to jump on cars and ride them, increase the speed cars travel to double their current, so lower levels could use them to travel around town

5: More costume choices. Maybe more animal parts like tails and ears, and whiskers. For male and female too, not just more catgirls.

6: A built in mp3 player using files or shortcuts to files and the ability to setup playlists and stuff in the game. Let people break it up by genre, and pick which songs the boombox plays when they use it (it wouldn't stream the music to other clients, but if they had the song too it could play it off their HD, or pick another song from the genre to play).

6.1: Speak with some artists who already make their music freely available, and see if a CoH music pack could be setup. Couple songs per genre in a single download people could get off the webpage. I'm sure there are a number of small bands who would jump at the chance for so much publicity.

I would like to see the following

1. Flight speed increased

2. more primary and secondary power choices for all archtypes (using all the fine ideas that alot of other posters have thrown out there for consideration)

3. Make the Fitness power pool inherent. you get both swift and hurdle at lv 6, Health at lv 14 and Stamina at lv 20, and since you can already slot Brawl, Sprint and Rest you would be able to slot them as well.

4. Allow people to have access to 6 Power Pools instead of 4 more choices are good in my opinion.

5. Add more power pools that are not strictly Epic.

6. and last but not least more costume options and toon customization.

Things I'd like to see in Issue 4:

New power pools
More than 50 levels (if at all possible)
Ability to have more than 6 slots on a power

I'd like to see some "darker" hero builds..

maybe a controller that uses shadow 'pets' or something along those lines.. you've got to try hard to play the role of the "dark" hero

I'm sure most of this stuff is being reserved for CoV though

You mean you're finally going to fix annoying bugs like Recovery Aura firing (animation, etc..., but not actually occurring) when we don't have enough endurance for it (that's an every time, very reproducible bug)? Like the map getting all whacked out and crazy when coming out of some missions? Like hover not working after going through a gate (have to turn it off and on again)? Like teleport rotating me in a seemingly random direction (this is the main reason I got rid of tp after a respec), or sometimes falling right after a teleport unless I turn on hover (which is related to the gate problem).

forget all the more powersets, more EAT's fluff

1)severe A.I boost, us heroes have it easy versus these mindless zombie mobs

2)new tilesets for every single faction with multiple entry points and strategical map design

3)removal of provoke

4)stacking armors for the shafted! (you know who you are!! :P)

I second that!!! I had some villains nearly kill themselves running to the top of a building and then jumping down, several times... LOL

My hope for issue 4 is that it doesn't come out before issue 3

Actually a good idea and very doable I think as long as they make the damage disappear with the defeated mobs and repaired items appear with the next spawn in that spot. Not talking buildings here, just the the useless bus stops ( not one bus in the city ), newspaper vending machines, light poles, benches etc... and for door missions anything inside should be destructable, but none of it should be stuff you can destroy for random fun as the noise will increase mob aggro range. Alternately cars on the street should be able to hit you and hurt you if you get in the way.

Missions where you have to protect a paniced mob of fleeing civilians from attack or save people from a burning building ( maybe this is covered in the SSOCS but until they release details... ) anything that allows you to do missions where combat is not the objective and you actually fail the mission if you do fight. Stealth missions for gathering intell for contacts... the kind of intell where the villain group has no idea you were there.

Color options for power effects would be nice, but may not be doable

Chest logos on capes as mentioned many times as well as more logo and design options.

How about specific power effects or auras for Fly based on the power sets chosen.. fire based flyers would leave a flame trail .. energy would leave an energy trail... ice could leave a small snow flurry in their wake etc... Super Jump and Super Speed both have a wake effect and could be altered accordingly too so nobody feels left out

Anyway those are just a few random thoughts I had ( I refuse to have the organized kind )

That is also happening in one of the lowlevel zones. I think it's AP, but it might be GC.

I would hope for a serious look at the difficulty of the game post-lvl 30 for those without status effect protection. This has been a much argued topic but for me just comes down to the fun factor. Zero status protection outside of insps (due to the limited number a toon can carry and the low drop rate of anything other than acc insps) makes soloing or grouping without the support classes unfun. Teaming is the usual answer to this but it's just not always possible at 3am.

Challenging is good, having to use insps is also good. It just not fun to run a blaster, for me and some others, past 30 the way it is now.

I do love my scrappy guy, tho!

would love to be able to have a set name for a team, and be able to search for teams..
also would like to be able to switch teams without having to quit one.

I would like the "what I call" bug of when you fall from the sky into water, you get hurt like you landed on land. If you fall into water, you shouldn't get hurt. And I would like to be able to go underwater. Explore all the caves, underwater lifeforms, water type enemies. And even add water type powers to the game.

Underwater stuff would be cool too... For inspir I usually just stock up on discipline ones before I go fight enemies with those annoying status effects.

I would like to be able to choose a different look for my AR gun. We should be able to choose a gun that looks like anything the villians carry, example: I want to make a SciFi AR blaster I can pick from Crey or Ritki models. A army guy can choose between the Crey Uzi's or the mob tommy gun.
Also how about the Broad sword can be replaced with the Ritki soldier one, or the Ax for the ritki mentalist giganto blade.
